I recently got my KDSS fixed so I was able to knock this out!

Pics of new KDSS valve? You said they have a new design for the valve ...

Not aware of any new design, just protect yours from corrosion.

If anyone is interested in a set of spacers with about 500 miles on them, I'll have some available around Aug 1, and I can even deliver them to Breckenridge if you're around on Saturday. 3/4" was insufficient for me, and with the rear air bags didn't even quite level the rake out.

@linuxgod , hold on to your spacers. If you get adjustable coilovers, you can use the spacers to tweak the lift amount without having to crank up the tension on the coil springs. makes for a softer ride, which will get a little more firm just from the geometry of setting the suspension further down in the travel.

Thanks. Im getting the Tough Dog 45mm foam cell, which has a fixed height. I suppose I could use them if there's still a rake that I want to level out, or if I one day can afford a BP51 setup.

Either way the spacers aren't very expensive. I paid $75 delivered and would probably let them go for $50. Even if I bought another set on the future I'd only be out $25-30

Just to clarify. The part number show that it's a SPACER - FR Spring. Given the other parts show different part numbers for a left and right side, I went to look for a companion part listed with FL, however I didn't. So I'm assuming, based on what I've read, that everyone is using the one spacer on both sides without any issue?

I’m planning on having my local dealer install the set of spacers. My concern is that the dealer tech wont properly adjust the KDSS during install. Will there be any immediate signs of improper install to look out for? I’d prefer going through the dealer (2017 under warranty).

An update: My dealer initially gave me the “it should already be installed” statement but looked into it further. They are quoting $120 for the spacer and 1.7 hours per side. He says they are going off time required to replace a strut. Total labor is $420

KDSS tips - you're welcome

there is documentation in this thread on dealing with the KDSS. there isn't really any "adjustment", just be sure the dealer opens the valves 3 turns, and no more. then closes the valves once the vehicle is back on the ground.

$120 for parts is steep. you can get them online for $75. $420 in labor is probably right for a dealership that hasn't done this before.

an experienced shop can knock this out in an hour.

ask if the $420 includes an alignment. you will want to get one done after making any changes to the suspension.

I’m going to add this to my OME kit. Are larger bumpstops recommended to stop the LC from bottoming out the shock?

So has anyone with an LX570 done this after doing the sensor lift to balance the load?

While conceptually, this could work on an LX570. There's no need to do it this way.

10mm wrench and 10 minutes is all it takes on the LX. There's a height sensor on each front arm. It's a simple adjustment to get the posture you want. Or do the rear end too to get a lift.

LX570 AHC height modifications (lift it!)

Planning to install spacers 43136-60020 on my 2017 LC200 would like to confirm if the thread on top of the stock strut is long enough to fit the spacer?

or do i need a longer screw?

Plenty of thread

thanks for the reply
will it be possible to stack 2 spacers on top of each other, because if 1 spacer provides 3/4'' lift, im not sure if that is enough.
Possible maybe, but u will need different bolts.

No idea, strong ass ones. You won't have enough thread on stock ones for two spacers. You will also have a hard time getting alignment correct with that much lift without uper control arms.
