Why does it stick out so far? Why would they design it like that? I'm not seeing the upside, and it's more weight and materials.
The winch has to clear the grill/lower valence, and it looks to me like there is just enough clearance to do that. It doesn't look to me like they could have made it fit much closer without requiring cutting of the aforementioned parts.
Maybe it just looks like it sticks way out just because you aren't used to seeing a Cruiser that low to the ground, and there is no winch mounted up - proportions are all wacked out.








I wonder if the larger frame winches like a Warn M12000 would fit?
