Mike and I have been talking for the last several months and we both agreed that we can't let a year go by without a Pig Party. I have been to the last four PP's and Mike has been to the last three PP's. We were hoping someone would pick up the planning for 2026 since we planned both 2024 and 2025. Mike @mike_az has a mostly stock 1977 FJ55 and mine is a restomod 1969 with a 2F, 5-speed, and Holley Sniper. Another friend of mine, Scott @ssipple65 , will be joining us in his mostly stock 1974 FJ40.

This is what we have planned:
Location: Skyline Trail Utah => We will be doing the southern part only which is about 75 miles of dirt. This will start around UT-31 with the first leg headed to Mt Pleasant Junction. We will conclude about 13 miles past Redmond Junction leading out to I-70.
Dates: Thursday August 7 through Sunday August 9th
Camping: We will camp at locations along the Skyline Trail so this will mean a different camp site for each night
Trail Expectations: This will be mostly dirt / forest service type roads and is known as one of the highest roads in Utah with incredible scenic views

Here is a link to a good description of Skyline, various waypoints, and some maps for those who are interested => Skyline Drive - Sanpete - Road Trip Ryan - https://www.roadtripryan.com/go/t/other/odds-and-ends-area/skyline-drive

This is an open invitation if anyone would like to join us. At this late stage...only 3 weeks away...we will not be changing dates or locations. Please reach out if you would like to join at which point we can get more specific on trail start time and meetup location.

Jake @residualboulders if you and Jeff would like to join as honorary PP attendees who led us on some awesome scenic trails last year in Star Valley and Grand Tetons just let us know.

SAS 10 is August 3-7, 2026 (taking the kid this year), or I’d come

Jim - schedules have been tough this year all around for sure. I think at least once in the future we should do the PP at Cruise Moab or Solid Axle Summit. Would be great to have a strong showing of pigs at one of those events.

Oh man, this sounds like great fun - it sure was last year and an awesome group of people! Unfortunately Jeff and I will half way through the Idaho BDR on these days, otherwise we would have loved to join.

That is awesome! So cool of you guys to organize a Pig Party.
Family stuff is weighing on my summer, so I am not going to make it, but thank you for stepping up - it will be fantastic!

PS: It looks beautiful!

Don't forget that the fine folks with the Dakota Territory Cruisers invited us to host a Pig Party at their Black Hills Cruiser Classic (aka Classic) event!

I am the Cruise Moab trail boss... I could make sure we have a Piggy Only Run! I even know a vendor or 2 who might want to sponsor it. 😉
