Technically this one was "meant" to reside behind an R151F 5 speed transmission (33030-6A414: Available) and then to a 1HZ engine.

The case is very beautiful and very nice. It is actually very reasonably priced.

You would still need to "populate" the input side of the case (by the PTO cover) with your 19 spline input gear (36212-60081: available) + the PTO gear and spacer to mate to either an H42 or an H55F. The output flanges (33309-60070 and 33309-60041: both are still available) would also have to be installed as well to make this a "complete" split case.

Anyway, figured some folks might be interested in these types of esoteric parts. :)

That's Purdy :)

I never get to see them like that, they are always greasy and grimy by the time I get to play with them.

That is dead sexy..

What is the $$$?

interesting .. but make sense .... we still had those 70 series with 1HZ + H55F + BF1A but I thought all t-cases behind R151 were HF family cases ..

That is pure awesomeness and surprisingly reasonable. The buy is: H55f + new split t-case = happy landcruiserguy for a long time.

In your market, yes, David...

Other markets got the 1HZ/R151f/split case and all three are availabe in the North American market....

Mainly because of mining market in Canada.

As you said Andy: $4200 will get you both basically with a bit of parts swapping.

As CDan said today, "interesting, they sell the split case built considering you have to take it apart to build it."

:)

Carroll Smith:
The only reason you buy a new race car assembled is to make sure you have a reasonable
chance of getting most of the parts you'll actually need to build a new race car...

So Onur, are you saying this split case will bolt behind the R151F in my 4Runner?

After drooling over these pictures again, I noticed the dog legged vent pipe. Would it be possible to get that part number, Beno? This would save having to drill and tap the front case half to add an extended breather line.
