After drooling over these pictures again, I noticed the dog legged vent pipe. Would it be possible to get that part number, Beno? This would save having to drill and tap the front case half to add an extended breather line.

Sure. I can look that up for you when I return to work tomorrow. I have a new one sitting in my office so I can do some investigating.

That one is going into my rig.

C'mon Beno, post up the part # and price.

In theory, yes.

Beno...can you elaborate? I've searched but can't figure this out. I have a US spec R151F out of a turbo truck. What is required to bolt the above split case to it? I assume a new tailhousing on the R151F? Shaft and collar for the split case? Is that correct? If so are these parts available in the US? Thanks in advance.

As CDan said today, "interesting, they sell the split case built considering you have to take it apart to build it."

:)

You know, I've been thinking about this, and the reason is obvious. There is no way to set the pre-load on the output shaft without a full assembly. So to make it plug and play, you would have to build it first, then disassemble for install at the dealership.

Have they cut your leg off yet Beno? Just make sure they leave the one in the middle alone.

Technically this one was "meant" to reside behind an R151F 5 speed transmission (33030-6A414: Available) and then to a 1HZ engine.

The case is very beautiful and very nice. It is actually very reasonably priced.

You would still need to "populate" the input side of the case (by the PTO cover) with your 19 spline input gear (36212-60081: available) + the PTO gear and spacer to mate to either an H42 or an H55F. The output flanges (33309-60070 and 33309-60041: both are still available) would also have to be installed as well to make this a "complete" split case.

Anyway, figured some folks might be interested in these types of esoteric parts. :)

I have seen this case advertised elsewhere as an "H151F Transfer Case". Is that correct? Would this work behind an H150, H151, or H152 transmission?

No. Split cases do not work behind these transmissions. You would need an 80 series transfer case.
