I got about half the bolts today, so I still have to hold off on taking orders until a receive the rest.

They've been ordered and are probably in the middle of the pacific right now, so hopefully within the next couple of weeks.

Thanks for everyone's patience!

Still waiting for the rest of the hardware...something about the snowstorms delaying everything...

Sorry again for the extended delay!

I am hoping I'll receive by next week, but not holding my breath:)

And thanks again for the patience!

Guys, I am really sorry about this. My supplier called yesterday and told me that the manufacturer she works with is no longer making indented heads. So even though they quoted me indented heads and took my money over a month ago, it doesn't look like they are going to be able to follow through.

I think I have a new source that has them in stock, they are just a little more expensive, but hopefully I'll have better luck actually getting them.

I'll update later today when I know one way or the other.

If I don't have a solution by tomorrow, all orders that have been placed will be refunded until I have the stuff on hand.

All right, I am 99% sure that we are nearing the home stretch on this. I've sourced the bolts from a new supplier and should receive most of them next week, with the rest shortly after.

But I had to get some in silver zinc, so I'll have to have everything plated now (either yellow zinc, or CAD), but both should be ready to ship in 14 days I am hoping.

Pistorman, sorry I have to either get all indented or all not, so I don't have any flat heads.

All the work you have put into this is greatly appreciated . There are 2 bolt shops where i live and every time i have needed bolts for my Cruiser they had to be ordered. You are saving all of us a lot of work. I look forward to what ever you can get.

Thanks a bunch

X2. Thank you.

Dave, I'd take the silver zinc, especially if they are less expensive.

Thanks for the work on this!

So this kit comes with washers/lock washers the who shebang for interior/exterior/and driveline for FJ40?

Have almost everything! The last size should arrive tomorrow and then everything goes to the platers.

I will report back with their estimated times to finish after I drop them off. Hopefully kits will ship late this week or early next.

Thanks to everyone!

To answer a couple questions:

Don't have all silver zinc, and they are the same price as yellow, unfortunately. I guess zinc is zinc.

And the kit comes with everything that should be needed to complete a full replacement of M6, M8, and M10 hex head hardware. Please check out cruiserman's spreadsheet to see what it is based off of. It does not include any phillips hardware (found on hinges).

Hi Dave, nice work on putting this together. I don´t mean to hi-jack, but I can help anyone who wants all silver (as I did when I was looking),

Anyone interested can find sample prices on my website in signature..

Is it possible to get oversize hardened washers for M8 and M12 bolts? The washer diameter for the M8 would be around 7/8" dia and the M12 would be around 1 1/8" Anyone have a source for these?

Everything is now at the platers.

Yellow Zinc should be done this week and I should have kits to ship by the end of the week.

Gold CAD will take a little longer, the plater said 2 weeks, but he always says that and usually I get a call that they are done in a week or so. But it may actually be that long.

Thanks again for all your patience. I am updating the website in the next couple of days. I won't be offering partial kits anymore. They weren't very popular and I am pre-sorting everything so I will only have full qtys bagged up and ready to ship.

And I am not re-stocking any regular (non-flanged) head hardware. It wasn't in high demand either. I've got enough to make a partial kit of regular and flanged head that I'll offer up for a price somewhere in between the two options (somewhere around $185). If anyone is interested, PM me.

I'll see if my vendor has anything like that. What hardness do you want me to check on?

Looking forward to getting the gold cad kit, been a long wait but from what I see a worthwhile one.

Thanks for shipping mine first, hehe, I think I likely paid first! ;-)

Yes! It's been way too long! I really need to learn how to manage inventory better. Hopefully next time I'll be smart enough to order well in advance of running out.

Also, I have to give a quick plug to my new supplier of this stuff: Bel-Metric. Ralph and the crew there really saved me when my original supplier couldn't come through. If anyone needs anything metric related, check out their website: Bel-Metric, Metric Hardware and Automotive Specialty Supplies - Wholesale Direct to You.

They've got vacuum hose, hose clamps, studs, etc... It is an excellent resource for all the small things that are impossible to find.
