Took a little trip down to the pick and pull. We looked at every car to find a good set of seats. We were just about to give up....

We hit pay dirt with 10 seconds left in the quarter.

Picked up these bad boys for 50 bones. Extra points if you can identify the vehicle they came out of.

Nope not PT cruiser and not a minivan. Hint(s)- Pretty sure these guys don't make cars anymore. When I tried to look the information up on Wiki, it appears someone deleted the entry on the manufacturer. I'm guessing a proud owner of said vehicle.

These seemed like a pretty low fab seat. It looks like the 60 brackets should easily mount on the these rails.

Got the the bracket rivets drilled out on the passenger seat and brackets knocked off. Moving onto the passenger 60 seat to peel off the d brackets for test fit.

Perfect color match. Put the old seat risers back in and kinda test fitted the seat to see what fabrication would need to be done- Fortunately very little. The distance between these sliders and the factory sliders are that the new seat sliders sit inch wider from one another than the factory Toyota seat sliders. I'll have to whip up some cross members to string across the risers and mount the seat rails to that. Not a complete bolt up like I was hoping for.

These seats sit slightly higher than stock, but with the padding is so much newer that I can definitely feel a height difference from stock. Luckily both me and my spotter are pretty short!

The drivers seat has a height lever which will give me some adjustment up or down.

Ohhhh these came out of one of these things.

Saturn Vue.

Lived in AZ my whole life so any rust is major scary business. I.m trying to get a job in the PNW... not exited about how my dry rust free cruiser will fair.. already knowing what happens to this old jap steel. Oh well...

Seats look good and nifty how they fold flat like that... Could make for a nice sleeping platform that extends all the way to the front!.

Dbleon, its the salt that kills the rigs, not the wet necessarily. I remember KRow posting a pic of two bolts, one from back east and one from PNW....Back east was a lump of rust, ugly...the one from the PNW looked great. That said I'm hitting my undercarriage with fluid film. Where you looking out here?
