If you do head up to see him, go through Steamboat and stop by the Butterknife brewery. LOVED their oatmeal coffee stout (very mild coffee flavor) and of course the week AFTER we left they were bring out a Salted Carmel Stout. Bout hit the floor when the guy told me that and am working the SIL/BIL on shipping me out some in a nice growler.

LView attachment 955427 Perfect color match. Put the old seat risers back in and kinda test fitted the seat to see what fabrication would need to be done- Fortunately very little. The distance between these sliders and the factory sliders are that the new seat sliders sit inch wider from one another than the factory Toyota seat sliders. I'll have to whip up some cross members to string across the risers and mount the seat rails to that. Not a complete bolt up like I was hoping for.

These seats sit slightly higher than stock, but with the padding is so much newer that I can definitely feel a height difference from stock. Luckily both me and my spotter are pretty short!

The drivers seat has a height lever which will give me some adjustment up or down.

Ohhhh these came out of one of these things.

Saturn Vue.
Now that's awesome - love the flat foldown. Sucks on the rust.

Got some work done on the interior. It looks better, not awesome, but better.

Got the Frost King layer down and some new carpet glued down in the front and both seats finally mounted. I really needed to get the front half of the truck interior complete enough to drive it.

I still need to patch some wheel wells- that's the next step.

Gotta get some day time pictures!

Wow! I don't think I've ever seen a shifter legend you could see much of... that one looks brand new. How many miles does your rig have?

Did those seats give any more leg room in the front? Been looking for a seat upgrade with more room

Sorry for the late response, I've been pretty busy with work and stuff. Anyway this is a good question- Is there more leg room?

Yes with some caveats - This is dependent on how you mount them, I'm sure.. It does appear that there is more "rail" for which to move the seat forward or backward as well.

But, but but, and I should have said something earlier, but I've been slacking a bit. If you do plan on doing these seats and you are a short person, be very prepared to change how you mount the drivers side seat. The mechanism and the supporting apparatus to raise or lower the seat introduces a few problems. Simply put, some stuff hangs down on the drivers side seat and will potentially hit your cross members that you might have fab-ed up. If you do this the way I did and you are shorter.. you may have problems as you will lose some of the forward sliding ability of the driver's seat as the lower hanging stuff smacks up against the cross member. I could have probably figured out away to fix it easily, but I'm tall enough to reach!

Just heads up for anyone wanting to go this route.

Been a while!

Finally getting some bumpstops put in. Daystar Stingers- cheap and pretty trick.
Feels good man... Feels real good.

Got some sliders going too, Trail Gear 67 Inchers. Legs welded on, still need to prime and paint these though.

What else, what else? Patched those holes in the wheel wells and finished putting in the Duct King stuff. Sooooo much quieter inside now. You can actually have a conversation with the passenger!

I'll have to add take some more pictures though.

Ordered a cut to fit bed rug for the back of the cab too. More to come on this as its currently flattening out in the living room.
