Carpet set still available

David, I think I have read almost all 14 pages of this thread. I must have the Black Sheep of the FJ60 world. Mine is a Oct. '85, white exterior with a Blue interior, carpet and seats. No I'm not color blind either. I have not seen anyone mention a blue interior, just wondering if it was common or not. You made mention of "Other Colors" being available, just curious.

Also, early on, in the heat of your introduction, someone asked about a vinyl or rubber molded floor covering. I'd assume this is a whole other ball game from your current manufacture?

Thank You, Great Job!

I would have sworn mine was blue as well, but I think this is a combination of fading and your eyes playing a trick on you. (What color was that dress again)

Notice the door panel, console, and shifter bezel. I thought they were blue/ gray. Installed the carpet and they don't look blue anymore, but I haven't done anything to them.

Man, I can't wait for my floor mats!

Install looks great.

Just pulled my center console, carpet under it is BLUE as well as the dash and seats.

Yeah, I have a blue FJ60 and I swear the dash, door panels, carpet, etc are blue, but have been told by several people that there is no blue interior. Sure looks incredibly blue to me. :meh:

Sure would be great to see pics of those blue interiors!

Bravo! This appears to be a very good replica of the OEM carpet. I've needed to replace my carpet for a while and really glad I waited for a high quality product.

Quoting DNP:

(c) a new, in-the-box browncargo mat SOLD"

Does (c) mean you are also now selling an extra cargo area section as an added option with the full carpet kits to protect the new carpet?

Sorry, just saw this earlier post. (For some reason, the 'MUD forum software doesn't always notify me of new posts.....sometimes it does, but not always. Can't figure why. Oh well.......)

Back to your question: yes, floor mats are available for all years of the 6x series (1981-1990) One set consists of the 3 passenger area mats (driver mat/passenger mat/second row one-piece mat) and the other set consists of just the cargo area mat. They are identical carpet to the floor carpet, have surged edges like the carpet sets, and they have rubber nubs over the entire underside to keep them in place. The front, 3-piece set runs $107 + shipping, and the cargo area mat runs $107 + shipping.

Let me know if you need any. PM is the best way to make sure I get the message.

Thanks,
David

I've talked with the mfr. about complete floor vinyl, but they said they don't have any plans to offer it. Accordingly, the wheel wells themselves would produce such low demand that it wouldn't be worth their while to make them.

@dnp I’d be 128% interested in a vinyl floor kit if that door ever opens. :D

Hey, thanks for the PM. I have discussed this with them several times, but unfortunately, they have no plans to offer vinyl for the 6x platform. They said they can’t get it to work with the floor mounts. Sorry.
