Just do the PHH. ...
If it needs it, yes, just like any of the other hoses, if not, I don't change them just for fun.

20+ years of being in the desert would make me want to change it out if it is original. If it needs it, yes, just like any of the other hoses, if not, I don't change them just for fun.
You drove over the curb! The traditional first picture should have been in it's native habitat,,, the gas station!

Heater hose,.
I toss those huge, heavy things straight in the recycle, much prefer the factory spring clamps.
Agree, inspect and do what is needed. People get all spun up about the PHH, here most often the highest priority is the heater valve.
Just do the PHH. How you do it is up to you. I went with silicone hose and the Breeze clamps and I have no regrets.![]()
With respect to red vs green antifreeze, there are a thousand threads on here regarding it. My two cents - if it's red now, flush and stay with red. If it's green now, fllush and stay with green. If you can't tell, flush the hell out of it and go with green.
I like red for one reason, if there is a leak there is a pink trail that leads me right to it.

I guess you don't unless they tell you it has, there is a record of it or it's obviously not original. That's sort of the point. For less than $20, you can fix a common failure point in the cooling system. All I am trying to do is help @OffRoadScott avoid being one of the guys that post a thread about overheating the first time it starts to get up to 120 degrees in the desert this spring/summer
My OME needed a 1” spacer to sit level
I just put on Dobinson 100mm and it sits level as can be.
Sure this has been asked but...
Just found a insanely good deal on a set of OME heavy 3" springs for the rear. But for the fronts I am thinking of going with the OME 2850 (heavy 2.5") and doing the Slee 30mm spacers. That should give me just over 3.5" of lift, my theory with going higher in the front is due to the weight of the engine.
What does everyone think?
OME J springs are a good match for heavy rears, no spacer needed. The plastic spacers have been problematic, if needed we make metal spacers, pretty easy, can show you how.
I just ordered some stuff from Wits End.
I might have ordered two of the same thing, I will call him in the morning.
