You will be good with the FJC. A trailer and that motor doesnt weigh enough to make the FJC struggle.

no kidding I pulled nearly 7,000lbs behind the FJC across country with no problem.......... I think it can handle the 800lbs of drivetrain Steve is picking up :D

Well - its actually a 2F, and a tranny, and a t-case, and the front half of a frame, and a radiator, plus a ton of other junk still bolted to this jewel... :grinpimp:

As soon as I get this home, and I mean the moment I push it into the garage, I will be stripping this baby down to get rid of it ASAP so the :princess: doesn't kill me. If anyone needs any 60 parts (radiator, PS, steering, etc) let me know. I'll post up better pics as soon as I have the goods home.

Note: the hand does not come as part of the deal.

I may be interested in the PS parts. Let me know what you would want for them.

Dammit. I was literally sleeping when the PS parts came up. Crap. I'll be second in line for PS parts.

If you will do something with the parts quicker than I will you can have them. After researching the swap I just dont know if I will have time to do the swap anytime soon. I think I may be better off getting a kit from a vendor just to make sure it works good and right.

Um, I can't say that I will do squat with them for a while. I would be adding PS to the pig...and I don't imagine I'll be wrenching to that level for some time. So if you need them, I am OK with second dibs. It's gonna be a while before I get under that piggy.

I have pretty much decided if I am going PS to go saginaw or do the scout and get it over with.

I've got 60 PS parts too. I have everything but the steering box. PM me if interested

Hijack over.

Hey steve does it have A/C? I need one of the hoses if it does

Also Steve do you know the condition of the stater? Thinkin mine is pretty much toast on the 40 and if I put the "faster" starter on it then my 40 will turn over easier.

Drag it

I have a trailer with brakes in the Chars.area if that will work. I could pick it up at Gulches on the 5th

I assume the starter works b/c the current owner ran the motor for a bit to show that it at least turned over. I'll see what its like when I get it back to TR.

Hmmm - that would save me from dragging a trailer to Charleston AND back. The trailer needs to at least have a 5 x 6 ft bed. The motor has part of the frame still attached...

It's a 6 x 16 foot car hauler with an open center In Mt Pleasant. Let me know if that will work.
Also has a 2 5/16 ball, but I have a ball with mount. Just let e know I also have a single axle 5 x 10

it will carry 2000 #, but that will be about max. It's also about 59" inside I'll let you judge when you get here.

TTT

I have a trailer reserved from UHaul but its gonna cost me $80 for the trip (2 days). My neighbor's trailer needs new tires - they are in too bad of shape for me to be comfortable on the interstate. I don't think dbenke has been online lately. Any last minute offers of a trailer around Greenville?

:grinpimp:

Remind me of your pick up schedule...

My dad (in Fort Mill) has one. I'm going to visit Tues. and Wed. If he's not using it, I'll ask if he'll loan it.
