105 L custom S/S watertank mounted under chassis with inlet under the bonnet/hood.

180L Aux tank copy of Aussie Long Ranger tank with all OEM parts and wiring

You will have to change the plugs to get the OEM wiring to work between 75 vs 78/9 ser parts to work

but the wiring is there if you look hard enough

Electrickery with new water tank gauge moved to the front of the 'bathroom box' behind driver's seat.

Just got back from an adventure in Mabuasehube and thought it ok to share some of our pics here ? (if not please delete it mods).

It ended up being only the three of us in various 70* vehicles.

The road was long, sometimes slow and always hot

required regular stops for fuel(especially for the EFi's

but eventually we arrived after 2 days

Now for the good stuff !

Were the lions still at Mpaya? They have been there a while because of the drought. We had a camp invasion at Bosobogolo a few years back. I had a Landy then and the lions kept us inside for over 2 hours. Last year winter, they terrorised the folk at Mpaya. If the moderators let us run with this, I'll post some pictures.



Really enjoying your build. Mozambique beers were cold and the Elephant Reserve soft sand did not poke the R151.

Can you, or the other folk in your group give a long term opinion on the Wild Earth roof tops. We are enjoying ours, but its still new and I want to add some shade or rain protection on the entrance side?

Initially they were not at Mapaya NO 1 because of this

but after we found them they returned in almost full force !

Thanks guys, much appreciated.I have thrown out the rear layout completely due to the new fridge configuration and me finally loosing a closely contestested Portapotti battle with swambo.I have no choice but to start from scratch again.

Not yet , I only finished yesterday fitting the new dryer, relocating the new lines and spacing the radiator & evaporator backwards and upwards.I have to say I am concerned about the space ... not so sure if the MK 3 was such a good choice anymore
