In the MUD...OUTSIDE the box
that's been going on since I was 19 :D when I got my first cruiser.

Well, I just turned 30 and I still have the bug...

New to me, a very well maintained, un-restored 1977 FJ45.

are you going to drive it or keep it in a museum? Very nice. I don't think I could afford one like that.

Unrestored but freshly painted.

A bit of an oxy-moron perhaps?

that's what I was thinking, sure looks like a repaint

It's an absolute beaut!

Thanks fellers!! :)

I stumbled on it. I wasn't looking to buy at all. But when I got pics...Its got less than 22K miles. The guy who had it had two BEAUTIFULLY restored 40's, a 1967 and 1968, both fully powdercoated. The nicest that I'd ever seen.

The Orig. owner was a forest ranger in Canada. He had a service truck that he drove.

Yeah, i guess it is a partial resto...not frame off. Everything but the tub and cowl were removed, sandblasted, etc. The interior was not removed. The guy did not want to tear apart the interior and do the frame-off. He had planned to drive it for a while, then do a the frame-off.

Oh, and I plan on driving it.....on sundays

yeah, i pass you in town often. You have the canvas topper, right? I usually drive a black double cab taco with matching snugtop, ARB bar and chrome rims.

You still in Boulder? If so I'll look for that beauty on the streets! Wave to me... I have the only black tacoma in town with a lightbar and a can-back.
