I will do the same ;)

Today I got some more genuine parts from Toyota. Now I "just" need alot aftermarket stuff for the doors etc. I also found the problem with the fuel gage, a bad soldering was the issue, now it is all working. Tomorrow the new dashboard will show up and the used 12volts wipermotor will be here in a couple of days.

I have decided to go with the original split rims and have decided for this Telegrau 2 color. I havent been able to find the color code for the wheels - strange!

Are those tires for 15 inch wheels?

Edit nevermind

There are a few codes out there that people have been using for painting/coating the rims Gray. My splits were recently re-barreled and upsized to 17 x 8's, and they are currently at the powdercoater. I went with DuPont 7023 with a 30% matt finish. Unfortunately the order got a little botched last week, as they were baked before doing the matt coat, so they have to be stripped and re-coated...70% gloss shine was too much for my taste. Will post up some pictures in my thread once they are done and the tires mounted.

Interested to see how your 7046 color compares to 7023. Looking at the DuPont chart, the 7046 looks more blue than the 7023 to me, and both are about the same level dark-shading.

Holiday

JESPER, can you posto please a picture of the inside of your hj45?
I am marco from Italy and I have a hj45, my I miss a knob, so please a picture of all the knob if you can.

Congratulation for your job, now I am looking for the rear tailgate, all the rest is original, the rear bed is not perfect but it's ok. Probably Kevin from canada will do rear tailgates again form next february....

That wheel/tire combo is perfect, you can never go wrong with a stock look. Nice work!

Wow! Amazing sheet metal work!!

Thank you very much guys! I really think that that wheel combo makes the difference. It really starts looking like a Hj45.

Now I need to take care of some minor things before I have to take the engine totally apart and change whatever needed to make it work properly!

I will keep you updated

Merry Christmas by the way

Be happy with that.
