OK, I see it now. The bolt is just in a different place because of the left hand drive and it's on passenger seat. Same part number for the bolt 93210-15016

No worries, I wasn't clear. Are you getting some miles on that beautiful 45 of yours?
 
Not in the last couple of weeks. It has been at my fabricators shop getting the bed rack for my RTT assembled and installed. I'm starting to get the DT's!
 
I hear ya, we're having a late winter.
 
It appears we are having an early spring .............for now! I think we will have snow here in March!!!!

Nolan, I do like these tires mainly because of the pattern and the original size. The flat spots are prevalent as you you know especially in the cold weather. Oh and the price is great.....

There is a tire that I have used and I think it's fantastic. It's a Yokohama "Y742S"
It's a 7.00-15, similar tread pattern and a radial, no flat spots and drives great.

If I had to do it again today, I would have bought the Yokahama. They are spendy though.... Around $225 I think. Here's some I've used.
 
I wish these were still available.....the old H78-15, they came in mud and snow pattern. Very close or the same as: 7.00X15.

One thing for sure. The 700-15 is why there was no reason to question manual steering, brakes and power.

Simply stepping up to 33x10.50s makes all of the above get out of their carefully engineered comfort zone.
 
Agreed, sometimes we forget about the intened purpose and go for looks, I'm guilty of this myself. Not so much since I have a gained a few years of Land Cruiser driving...:)

Simple Tire has the STA Super Traxion Tread A for $232, they’re OOS on the Yokohama 742s. Tire Rack has the Yokos for $198.

I’m on my second set of Power King Super Traction IIs (7.00-15LT). Got in the low to mid 20k miles on the first set. Almost exclusively on gravel roads. Simple Tire has them for a little over $100.
 
Yokos, Y742S for $198 is a good deal....I think the Yokohamas are great because they are radials. The only problem with the STA's 7.00 X 15 I've got is the flat spots when sitting and cold.

Yeah, so that’s why I drive on bumpy gravel roads lol.

On the hunt for at least one more steelie then I’ll look into tires as maybe I’ll be able to roll the ‘63 into the new shop sometime this next month when the snow clears and I can finish getting the drive to the shop complete. Then the fun starts!

Looks like us out West are having a late winter. I can only imagine how excited you are to have a dry and warm place to work on the 63 SWB...it's right around the corner...
