THIS.....its priceless:cheers:

After going down some very tight, very rocky, very tree-y trails, i decided i REALLY needed a set of rock sliders. so i got on the computer and ordered a safari snorkel instead.

Great looking 62 you have there! Looks like you are using it as was intended. Keep it up!

TK

Thank you very much, sir :)

So that's where Ryan's FJ62 went.
Looks like it's getting a good workout.

All thanks to you, brother! Wouldn't have been a very confident buyer otherwise. Thank you so much for checking her out for me

Yeah, now whenever i hear a large "SMASH" after landing on the rocker panels, i just look at that snorkel and imagine just how cool everyone thinks I look...
probably not very. LOL!!!

Alright, that's it!!! I'm on my way to Georgia! Seriously, a good capture of good times. Always enjoy reading your posts. Hey, maybe when you decide you're ready for sliders again, you can order a roof rack... ;)

Hell yeah Danny, cross country road trip haha!!
Only problem is... Winter is coming. it might even get down to 30 degrees, and if the gods curse us, 1-2 inches of snow
Maybe i should just cruiser on over to sunny california and chill! And I was so close to ordering sliders a couple weeks ago, but then my alternator decided it didn't want to charge my battery anymore. i figured i should probably get that fixed since i already did the frivolous spending on my snorkel lol. And thank you for liking my posts haha :)

Started sanding and painting the grille a few hours ago. It was quite the  job.

Also finished spraying all the vents.

And i installed my brand new armrest :D
Super stoked on this thing.

Lots of cheap and cheerful mods can be done for <$100

The Ammo can armrest is sweet. Where did you pick it up at and what size ammo was in it. Also the wood panel is cool too.

Thanks. Most Army/Navy surplus stores have them for cheap (20mm ammo cans). good luck.

Dude if PO hadn't already put in a Tuffy, I'd be ripping off the ammo can armrest mod in a heartbeat. Freakin' awesome. Looking forward to wheelin' again!

Next time you head to ACC, sneak a peak in Brian's 80. Same ammo box, powder coated black, 2 cup holders sunken in, and the top half of the original 80 series armrest bolted on top. Its awesome! He's even old enough to have a GUN mounted to the side , instead of my stupid CB that never works :o

Dude...... wtf we are going hard come Christmas break. I haven't done **** with the truck since October (except for a few mudding outings ;)). Sorry for having to cancel on you twice, I feel really bad. We are going hard, and definitely hitting up Beasley.

No worries Asher, they'll always be more wheeling trips.

I attended the toys for tots shindig/wheeling event with the GA cruisers and a jeep club, bounty runners, at the fine Atlanta eating establishment,The Varsity, late last month, so i figured id finally post some pics.

It was cool seeing the clubs come together to help out the children around Christmas time.
(My only shot of the trucks that came out. It sucks, i know, but it gives you an idea i think)

Group Shot with all the toys piled onto one 60!

Right before we crowded around Sid's 60 for the picture, the Hendog shows up driving his FJ45LV :eek::eek:
First drivable one I've ever scene! And this may be the 60 section, but I do believe everyone can appreciate this jewel! The paint may look rough, but the engine and underside of the truck looked brand new. And its for sale... $15k... MOOOOOM!! DAAAAAAD!!! I know what i want for Christmas :D

With such a great turnout for the TFT, i figured they'll be a awesome variety of trucks and people to wheel with at Ralph's (Black Moose).
Heres how many people weren't busy...

4 including myself hahaha. y'all are a buncha scrubs

Since there were no buggies with us and i had the largest tire size, we stuck to the easy trails. I, being a very nice guy, decided to take one for the team, and liven things up... And i did "on purpose"..
That wonderful noise is the sound Aisin hubs make when they are really pissed off! And i drive off like nothing happened...

But because i wrecked a hub at a GA Cruiser's sanctioned event, i won this. The Carney award ;given to the s***head who screwed up their truck more than all the other s***heads.

Quick glam shot.

It was a pretty great day.

That place is a train wreck, colon flush, and diarrhea explosion all in one bite.

I was thinking the same thing. Everyone used to race about that place when I first moved here. Finally went and ate there (years ago) and I was like wtf? This place is awful. Colon flush for sure. It is an Atlanta landmark tho. LOTS of car clubs have met there over the years an still do.

Sorry for the slight hijack. :D

They had to put the restrooms in the middle of the place, it was to messy when they had them at the opposite end. People couldn't make it 50 feet.

Y'all are a bunch of pansies. Varsity is a piece of cake compared to street food vendors in Calcutta. You wanna talk about colon flush...

no more talk of the varsity or of colon flushing. :ban:
