763 miles today. I spent all of three minutes advancing the timing before I left Omaha. It was a generic get me through the Rockies and I don’t wanna stop to make adjustments as I go average 13.4 miles per gallon from Nebraska to Salt Lake.
will repeat tomorrow and work my way to Sacramento

Dream… when I get settled I will update the tech, reviews/opinions, etc of what it took to get me to this point. Not trying to make drama. It wasn’t what I expected.

These are my thoughts when driving across country. If I am up, I want to be moving, allows more time to be "there", wherever "there" may be.

For me, when traveling in my LandCruiser, “There” is in my LandCruiser. I still get such a joy from driving them.
Many 1000 mile in 24 hours trips in Elsie. I would pull over and stop every few hours for a brief walk around to look at the tires, let the wolves stretch and potty, then back on the road again. 30 gallons of on board fuel @25mpg meant one stop for fuel.
I have taken long naps in the front seat - not all that comfortable for a big guy - F150 way better but no real room for 2 big dogs to lay down.
