I'm hopin too...I just realized who you are, I was the guy in the gold, dual tranny'd 4runner(that was beat all to s***)
I haven't weighed it yet, I've been working on getting this drivetrain mounted

I bent a piece of tube tonight. :) I also took some measurements for a fuel cell. I wonder how much that is gonna cost me.

Just a little crossbar...I still need to cut the piece of BIG stuff out and add a x-member in there

I'm going to tie it in to the piece above it with some smaller diameter tubing.

I'm going to mount the gas tank here above the upper link...(It'll be bumpstopped and guarded from the link)

Wow, that's some good ****. Very impressive too bad you don't live out here on the west coast!

Oh it's like that!!?? :flipoff2:

No, but you guys have all the good fab people out there. Mudrak, slee, hannah, luke, 2badfjs, ect....

Us East Coast folks need some love too.

Damn right we do, they also have the kick ass wheeling spots for rocks...

I built a "mocked fuel cell" tonight. I also took dimensions on my cage.

I can't wait until January, my insurance will take effect and I'll be able to go to the doctor and have the pain in my gut fixed (March is no longer a goal: I figure I'll be out of the shop for at least 2-3 weeks for surgery :( )
It sucks cause I'm not supposed to pick up heavy stuff, so wtf am I gonna do, everything on this damn truck is heavy.
:frown:

Well, considering i'm about an hour from you, i'll come lift the heavy stuff and you can weld some tubing on my sliders? :D

just wanted to say i like what you are doing!! If you are down in the UNCC area come and bend some tubing for my FJ60! I can't tell you how many times we have scrapped sticks of steel on the CNC bender here...makes me want to go back to bending by hand! I was also wondering, did you draw this up before you started? Or was it a kind of fly by the seat of your pants thing? At any rate it looks really great!

High Point/Winston-Salem

I'm in greensboro all the time...

I've changed plans a few times(I adjusted my plans as I got parts:D ) BTW if anyone is ever close and just wants to come by and hang out, your more than welcome too.

I had planned on using a 22re, then a 2.7 (3.4L is what I got now)......a w-56(R151F now), just happened to come across a set of FZJ axles so they are there

Thanks for the props guys....My coil-overs will be here on Friday and I've got a tube in the shop but I don't want to make a bad situation worse so I'm staying away from lifting

t100 pan and sump?

That is a long list and that kinda list will nickle and dime a person to death!

I was wondering why you would need a t100 pan and sump? I am a 40 guy so I don't know much 'bout mini's.

Is there something neato about the pan I am missing out on?

Again, great build by the way. I hope you get well soon so I'll new pics to look at.

Just wonderign why BL .. now you can placeyour suspension ( cut fenders ) in nice lift to avoid BL and no rub with your selected tires ..

I need it for 2 resons
1. the 3.4 is taller than the stock engines
2. I need the clearance for my clocked cases...I don't want to cut my floorboards up just yet...that is more work that I don't need...

It is not for clearance on the tires
