Raton Pass part #3!
SC is in and I passed a BMW M3 at 80-85 mph
No doubt he could have blown me away however with five of us, gear, two bikes and a partridge in a pear tree it went really nicely!
Cliff notes 2011 35's and 4.11's Raton Pass-just me-2nd gear 50-55mph
2012 35's and 4.88s Raton Pass-fully loaded people and gear-3rd gear 70 mph
2013 35's and 4.88's with SC 3rd and 4th gear-fully loaded people and gear-up to 80-85 MPH
Raton Pass is no Eisenhower tunnel climb but it is the one I've been able to do back to back to back with the changes to the truck. Elevation at tthe bottom is about 6300 and the top is 78xx. It's a few miles in between so it gives a nice, quick little grade to test on.

The 4.88's are in and 4WheelParts in Austin, Texas did an excellent job with them and the castor correction bushings. Great guys to deal with. I went up Raton pass with full load of gear and passengers in 3rd gear at 70 mph versus 50-55 with just me and gear (last Fall). I can also pass again without feeling like I'm going to be hanging out in the left lane too long. The 4.88's were great offroad as well needing almost no braking pressure on steep downhils. I came down hard on the Metal Tech sliders once and they worked as advertised. Really exciting to see the rig come together and use it! My FlowMaster exhaust does drone now in the highway at 75mph and around 2800 rpms but in general it wasn't too horribly annoying. Next bumpers, winch, S/C and intercooler!!!!
