I finished the third row last night. I forgot to make holes for the anchors on the belts and pulled it up again to find out where they were, DOH!

Putting this into my build thread so I don't lose it. I will be using the 2.8 pulley. The kit comes with the 3.2. These numbers are at the flywheel. Here is an article about drive line loss through rwd, fwd, and awd.

Two SC install potential pearls of wisdom.

1) When installing the first clamp coming off the MAF (attached to the top of the air cleaner) there are 8 clamps supplied. Only one of them is large enough to fit over the first section of pipe nearest the MAF. The screw in this one is Gold and the other 7 are silver. TRD doesn't mention this and George's instructions direct a larger, recycled one needs to be used or a new, larger one be purchased. I found TRD did include a bigger one (again, the one with the Gold screw) but didn't put it in the instructions as such.

2) I could not physically mount the plenum to the intake manifold hard pipe and rubber tubing as the angle was too great or the length too long or both. I had a mechanic friend try as well. We took off the plenum, readjusted and the pipe was simply "off" any way we tried to stick it on. I bought a 90 degree bend 1/2" shorter pipe on each end and it went on with some effort and lines up perfectly. If I missed something here please chime in.

I found this thread https://forum.ih8mud.com/80-series-tech/378924-supercharger-install-questions-vac-hose-routing.html extremely helpful for the routing of certain hoses.

The supercharger is up and running. I am grinning from ear to ear. And this is with the 3.2 pulley and no IC. I did many 0-60 runs on a road near town. Before SC 18.xx seconds average after SC 12.xxx average. Really torquey down low. Doesn't pull like a turbo up top by any means as it is linear. I'm pleased. For what I wanted I got. The snorkel sucking air and the whining of the SC along with the EMS exhaust sound great!!!

Great Job

I really enjoy reading your build thread and like what you've done with it. Congrats on the SC, that had to be a fun one to install! Are you in Austin? Just curious, I'm in San Antonio and slowly building mine up, but starting at a much lower point. Still trying to get engine and tranny "stable" so that I can feel confident putting money elsewhere on the truck. Of course mine is a '91 3FE, so slow is a way of life!

Hey man,
Thanks! The build has been going for 2 years now and it really has been fun.I'm in Austin and Del Rio on and off right now. I usually go home the back way via Rockspirngs. That tranny in the 91 is pretty rock solid generally, best wishes, cheers!
