I'm getting ready for my first trip to Moab on Friday.

I installed a cb antenna on my spare tire holder today. I think am going to get a quick detach mount Or a shorter mast so I can get in the garage.

we have quick detach mounts for the firesticks on all the cruisers exactly for the purpose of fitting them into the garage

Nice work! Dig your style and your rig is sharp, lots of great upgrades. Look forward to seeing more pics from that beautiful part of the country you live in!

I wired up my onboard welder and tested it out. IT WORKS!

This was when running about 1800 RPM. I have never used a stick welder before. So I will have to practice and get used to it.

Be really careful with using your foot like that - welder output is ac and any sweat inside that boot along with humidity and such makes you a nice ground . If there is any issue with the handle of your stinger you'll get bit , and bit very hard . Welders can kill easily since they deliver high amperage at low volts , so do some reading about safety and proper techniques . Also , if you didn't know - never allow your vehicle to be used as a ground or work on another vehicle with any metal contact , they must be isolated or your asking for trouble .
Spend some time on www.weldingtipsandtricks.com in the stick section , it will help .

This ones called Kenny's Climb. I did this in 3 wheel drive because I broke a birfield the day before. It does not look steep till you see it from the side

It ran and preformed flawless! (Less the broken birf)
Very very impressed with it.

:bounce:

I have only ever driven down that long steep hill on Hell's Revenge, never up :hmm:

I did not get time to run Hell's Revenge on this trip. :-(
But I'm headed back down next month!

I did not enjoy my trip being interrupted by a broken Birf so
I ordered some 30 Spline Longfield Axles from Kurt at Cruiser Outfitters. I should be good now.
