Hi! IF you're willing to share, I thought it might be helpful for the rest of us to better understand what the market prices are for the 200 series (and LX 570 I suppose). I'm personally looking for one, have found a few, and curious what others' purchase prices have been so I can negotiate (or not) properly.

Please share purchase price, year, mileage at purchase, and location (east/west/south, etc...)

Thanks and happy hunting for those also looking.

Definitely a scam
Just for fun, I pulled the Vin.
The owner of this vehicle is located in Georgia and just did an oil change. Not for sale

This just popped up on Autotrader. Seems to be reasonably priced for an HE and mileage…posting just in case anyone is in the market for one-Probably to good to be true as the dealer has no reviews and hasn’t been in business for very long🤷🏻‍♂️

Willing to put some money on this being a bogus, fraud dealer, just like the All Makes Cars listing--$66k for a 29k mile HE

No doubt this bastard was on for 2 mins. Called when I saw it. Ready to buy. Ugh. Look for a dealer to have it for sale in 2 weeks. At least $15k. Too cheap. Carmax using book value or some BS

Wouldn't go that far. $78k for a 2017 with that mileage is way too high.

Definitely like $5k'ish under market though. Good deal for someone.

explain why a 30k miles 2017 should be $10k less than a 2020 30k mile Land Cruiser.
Also. Find me any sub 50k mile
Land Cruiser 200 for sub 78k. I’ll wait.

Old radiator, doesn't have the other 2018+ updates/refreshes and the car itself is 3 years older?

Fair point though there is like nothing out there in terms of inventory right now. I just can't really believe that 2017 model years are trading for what 2021 model years of similar mileage were trading for less than a year ago.

You should all stop discussing this and get ready for another round of ludicrousness.

I love that the selling dealer (who BTW always pulls up 200 BAT sales with crazy high bids from the start) says the PO traded it in for a new 700h - must be a nutjob this PO. 😅 Why trade this perfection 5-year-old-25kmile LC for a brand-new LC 300series with updated tech and warranty?

Hah. Is this one yours?

Will be 6 figures for sure. Already at $91k and there's a week left.

Radiator was issue on pre2016. ‘16 and ‘17 don’t have auto tailgate. That’s it. As far as differences from ‘18+

Man, I wish I had surfed this HE-craze wave. When I bought my OT, I tried BAT for my HE but did not get even close to these crazy numbers nowadays. And mine had around 45k miles only, but no dice. It worked fine because I traded in with the dealer and saved on the taxes for the OT.

Honestly, could not be happier. I love the 200s, but after 6 months with my LXOT, it is miles ahead in every single metric I can think. I will never understand these people paying brand-new 300 series prices for pre-owned 200s - HE or not.

The new radiator design was not implemented until 2018 as far as I'm aware. That 2017 still has the old one that will eventually need to be replaced.

In addition to the auto tailgate and the new radiator design, 2018+ also get automatic folding mirrors and an updated infotainment screen (capacitive versus resistive).

But on a more basic level newer model years are worth more than old model years all else equal. A 2020 was built later it has had less time for rust for rubber to dry out etc. A 2020 will always be worth more than a 2017 if the trucks are otherwise identical.

It looks to be a very clean example no doubt. It was listed on his website a couple weeks ago for around $124K I want to say. The only thing that might hurt it is the Kings/Total Chaos kit. Then again, that same bit of kit could help it as the name has clout. Kings are great don't get me wrong but I took a test drive in a 200 with the same setup once and found the ride a bit firm, certainly not as soft and comfy as the OEM suspension or a set of Bilsteins. Kings are a waste of money/sunk cost if you're doing like 90% daily driving IMO.

Curious to get price opinions on a fully built 2013 200 with ~135K miles. Rig is in Colorado.

Thoughts? Or if you’re in the market feel free to PM (I’m a reasonable person 🤣).
