Hi! IF you're willing to share, I thought it might be helpful for the rest of us to better understand what the market prices are for the 200 series (and LX 570 I suppose). I'm personally looking for one, have found a few, and curious what others' purchase prices have been so I can negotiate (or not) properly.

Please share purchase price, year, mileage at purchase, and location (east/west/south, etc...)

Thanks and happy hunting for those also looking.

@krice118 you ever sell your truck?
Bought a new house and a 3D cup holder, now the wife’s Stanley cup no longer spills. She hasn’t complained about it any more 🤣

Decided to keep it at this point. Also didn’t seem like folks were super interested at $25k so we’ll keep it.

I like the car but not the bumper. I would want to put a dissent on on there. Not sure if that's doable since you already cut it for the one you have?

I had my heart set on that 200 from Texas too but the airport line was crazy and tickets were $500 for one way. Ended up buying a tin can instead, crazy discount on them right now. I got 6K off the MSRP and just impulse bought one.

I'll give myself a year before i get the itch for a 200 again. Until then, good luck guys.

haha congrats!
That Texas car is only a few hours drive for me. Not worried about the seats tbh.

What's the consensus on $37-38K on a 200,000 mile 570? 2016/2017.

That’s what I was thinking. Car is very clean but 38 feels like about 5-6k more than it should be for private sale.

I am finding cars with 100k less miles for a few thousand more.

Nice Tacoma. Toyota is selling a lot of these. I see them all the time now. SR5?

I asked my local upholstery person how much to redo driver and passenger seats:
$1300 materials + $800 install.

On the Texas LX? That’s too much to spend, not sure if it’s similar but I upholstered my own driver seat on my LX470 using eBay premade cover and it only cost $70, 2 hours, and 3 open wounds on my hands. I’d do it again instead of spending thousands

Yeah SR5 4x4 with a couple add ons like heated seats, folding toneau cover, full spare, floor liner etc. MSRP was 44,350. I got it for 38,500 + dealer fees and taxes. Already got wheels and tires in the mail, and leveling kit. Best value I think, trd pro is literally 2x the price

These things are fast, I’d say it’s faster than my 2013 Lx570. Doesn’t drive anywhere as smooth though and interior is all plastic. Can’t wait to tune it and get intake / exhaust for it

Ya I was wondering how much it would cost to fix those seats. No way I am spending 2000 on seat redo...not on a 120K mile car. Maybe 250K miles...sure..

The texas car's interior just doesn't match the miles.

Undercarriage shots doesn’t show any leaks so I can see it being appropriate, also I ran the carfax and mileage is consistent with registration and service history. Don’t think any funny business there, but the extra wear could be from someone’s choice of clothing and how they get out of the car. Like if they slide their jeans on it to get out each time then the leather will eventually wear off as opposed to someone who stands up to get out.

I was in a rental '25 SR5 4Runner for a week. I went into it expecting it to be pretty negative (after reading a lot of stuff here), but IMO the motor is perfectly fine for something Tacoma / 4Runner grade. The lower trim Tacoma and 4Runner are the sweet spots in Toyota's entire BOF lineup. Enjoy!

Oh i didn't mean funny business, i meant car looks older than the miles would indicate.
13 going on 30 lol

Yep... usually what happens with these trucks. People simply do not use that grab handle to get out of the car and slide sideways like in a waterpark. Give it one or two years (let alone 8 or 9) and it's all trashed. Bonus if the seat color is light and the owner wears blue jeans.

This is part of the Porsche training. lolz.

You’re not alone. If it had a stock bumper I likely would have sold it by now. Guess I was meant to keep it. Drives so nice so I’m not complaining!

I could use another pair(s) of eyes on this car.
approaching 200K miles.
What do y'all think?
