Hi! IF you're willing to share, I thought it might be helpful for the rest of us to better understand what the market prices are for the 200 series (and LX 570 I suppose). I'm personally looking for one, have found a few, and curious what others' purchase prices have been so I can negotiate (or not) properly.

Please share purchase price, year, mileage at purchase, and location (east/west/south, etc...)

Thanks and happy hunting for those also looking.

This auction is insane. It's already hit $157k !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Woooow!!

Holy smokes, it ended up selling for $161k plus the BAT fee. That's really shocking for a car that's only been out of production for 4 years! Says a lot about how disappointing those LC250s are.

Wow... I spent literally 10x less than they did on mine! Granted, mine has a few more miles...

High bidder must have won last weekend's Powerball jackpot!

What's really interesting is who the losing bidder is and that presumably they felt there was still meat on the bone up until the last bid
Yeah, they must have felt they could buy it at $160k and still manage to make their usual hefty profit. All their stuff is grossly overpriced IMHO.

FWIW, RMR4x4 has several low mileage 200’s between $90k-122k available for sale.

Yep and all rotting there, including one with 20 something miles that they bought in Bat more than one year ago, I think. I will never understand this business model. Had they bought this one for $160k, God knows how much they would ask and probably would stay there for 2 or 3 years, with the "call for price" sign. Glad somebody else bought it and hopefully will use the hell out of it, as they should.

They’ve been around for twenty years. They aren’t going anywhere. I’ve purchased five vehicles from them since 2010. Their business model is doing just fine. As for their land cruisers, they’ve sold four units since June.

There's a sucker born every minute, as they say. Birmingham is chock full of them. They sell/repair plenty of Land Rovers to offset their LC's sitting in the parking lot, I imagine as well. No shame in that game, by any means, though. From my experience, their bread and butter customer is not typically a die-hard cruiser-head like us.

Reddit user got a 23,000 mile 2021 HE for $75,000.

Had a few mods but nothing severe.

Market softening? Significantly less than I paid for my 21 base with a few more miles ~6 months ago.

Yeah, I believe the market is definitely softening for the most part, but I don't think the bottom will drop anytime soon or anything like that.

I doubt it. This seems an odd ball. The seller probably had no idea what he had. Check BAT this and last week 2 HEs went for $100k plus, one breaking the record at $160k, I think (granted it had only 300miles or so), but there was a white one with 14kish miles sold for more than $100k. A live one is also now at almost $70k already with close to 70kmiles.

I seen this the day it was posted and question its legitimacy. Some Reddit users do weird things like make up posts strictly for likes. I have a hard time believing a 23k mile HE (in Mag gray of all colors) sold for less than trade in value.

Bought a 2013 Lx570 116k miles. Single owner serviced at Lexus every 5k miles. Been in Dallas its whole life. I tried getting them down to 31k but when they sent me the underneath pictures I couldn’t say no.

Idk who bought it but a found another 13 in Oklahoma with 83k miles for 33k. But it sold in less than 12 hours.

The market is not softening on the HEs, I've had a WTS ad for my 21 HE on here for over a year, and suddenly in the last couple weeks I'm getting a bunch of inquiries. Prior to that it was crickets.

I know a salesman at a large Toyota dealership, and he confirmed my suspension that the HEs are indeed recently becoming more desirable.

Doing a search on Cars.com, Autotrader, etc. I see prices on the HE's creeping up.

Try to find an HE in Gray or Silver from a dealer (other than maybe RMR), and they don't exist.

I like to do the "instant cash offer" thing every 6 months or so - right now it's about 7k under what I paid for my 21 HE brand new.
