Got the case in with everything adjusted properly, only to find a frozen rear caliper during the last function test in the shop.

Picked up flooring from home depot yesterday. Had planned to start insulating and moulding today, but found rust developing in the floorboard. Turns out if second skin is routinely exposed to moisture, it will let rust develop between it and the metal it's costing 
Removed the loose crap, treated the rust with wire wheels and naval jelly, then put more second skin down. Will seal the second skin with undercoating before insulating over the top.

Have an urgent project on the wife's DD, so I'm not going to be able to get through all of my vinyl flooring right now, but this is a very promising test. 1/2" carpet padding on top of the undercoating/second skin, then this thin gym mat, that I think is made from recycled rubber. Thermoforming seems to be working!!

Looking forwards to a review and more detail on the flooring. I’m ready to ditch carpet but I’d sill like something that keeps the noise and heat down especially over the transmission.

To close the loop on the transfer case stuff, all is reassembled with new rear brakes and she's pretty much good to go. Double low is definitely lower than before, but not by a large margin. May end up putting 3:1 gears in the NP205 down the line.
Still have to hook up the emergency brake and sensor, install GPS speedo, and some other odds and ends, but she's back in action.
Feels like she has less power on the road than before, not sure why. Need to order a fuel filter and swap it out to see what's up.

Start looking now if you're wanting a 3:1 205. Lomax hasn't made a run in quite a while, so you're going to be left looking for a used case online (also, it's not as simple as installing the gears in the case, it's an entirely new case made for the gears).

Picked up a set of door cards from AU Door Cards, after a thread in the 60 series section clued me in. These far surpass the factory cardboard jobs. Next up, new 5.25" speakers inside the doors, new gauges and some wiring cleanup.

Dang, door cards... carpet... you're getting soft in your old age. You'll be turning this thing into a show truck.
You know, I have been thinking recently about stripping off all of the raptor liner to go back to regular paint

Did you have to call them to get those? The link you posted only has hardwood door cards and nothing looks like what you posted.

Took a quick trip to Uwharrie this weekend to test out the transfer cases. Man was it fun!! Wish I could have gotten away for longer, but c'est la vie.
Moonshine was flawless. Having a 2:1 low range is awesome for bombing around on the trails between obstacles, much better than 4:1. 110:1 final drive is MUCH lower than 80:1, even though it doesn't seem like a big difference typed out. Couldn't be happier with the transfer cases.
