I’ll look into that, thanks.Um, you have the key blank that fits the lock tumbler you have - take tumbler apart and file the key to fit the pins - basic locksmithing 101. I'd bet even the folks at the big box stores like Home Despot could do it. Ace Hardware usually has smarter people because there are less of them. A real locksmith could do it blindfolded.
Locking doors on a old LandCruiser is just wishful thinking. Kick vent and a coat hanger or the door gap you can throw a cat threw is no real security. I don't take the key out of the ignition, except to do the gas cap.
Is he still in business? I have ordered from him before and I love his store, but saw a lot of people were having issues recently. Also try ToyotaMatt at Vintageteqparts.com
Yep! I have an order in with him now. He's not speedy, but he has a ton of knowledge and access(?) to a load of hard to find parts. Is he still in business? I have ordered from him before and I love his store, but saw a lot of people were having issues recently.
