Shoot, i haven't had my coffee yet Stan. Yes, I mean Friday! If you want to bring your pop-up be my guest. If it gets bad im pulling the parachute and heading for civilization. But as far as the weather report.. it seems like this is just local storm and the desert/river hasn't been touched.

Hey guys, whats the general consensus on Fireworks Friday night for my birthday? Someone told me that the AVI gas station has quite a selection. I for one, don't think it would hurt to fire off maybe one or two as long as we don't get out of hand and respect the desert. As well as pick up after ourself.

What is your opinions on this subject?? I don't have my mind set on it, was just something that would be cool to do.

I am so f'ing jealous. I spent all last night with a flooded restaurant thanks to my 25 year old decrepid mall with worthless management! I really need a trip like this to get away. At least we should (better) have some good steady video when you all return.

It's hard for me to stare out the window with a fully loaded rig ready to roll right now! Im gonna tell everyone i went to the bathroom and not come back

He has really built a beautiful FJ. All that's lacking at this point is a good rear bumper. The ARB rack for the FJ really is a very nice rack. That and all the lights he's now got on it, thanks to Dirty Part's (Larry) awesome work, he's set. I took a good hard look at Larry's install of the lights as that's where I'm headed. It is nothing short of FIRST CLASS work.

Have fun on the trip guys! Wish I were either in DV or with you guys, but duty calls!

This sucks! I'm officially notifying you guys that I won't be there. Have a great time, take lots of pics and don't blow your fingers off with the fireworks. Stan be sure to get some night pics of the new lights. Camping is gonna be great, I am gonna regret missing this for quite a while.

Well we are all back safe and sound. No problems on the trail... except for the water crossing at the end... when i decided to hot dog it a bit. The weather was beautiful and the trail was bitchen!

Took it easy, slow left on the last water crossing, nice bow wave, smooth sailing. Moto bike guys past boot depth, drowings there stuff, couple stuck in the muck.
