Currently planning to be there Monday/Tuesday. I'll likely drive over on Sunday. Driver over to Breck on Wednesday. But things have become "interesting" at work so all this assumes the current status quo. My wife is a maybe.

@TonyP , if you are camping then having a "hot" shower may not be a problem as the water probably comes out hot that time of year in Moab. Seriously, we should expect it to be hot - like >100 hot. (Of course, for those from AZ, it may feel like a cool down.) But because it is so hot it is not generally peak season so I would think that there are hotel deals to be had. I may use some points to get a couple free nights.

Also, @kreiten and @Utah200, if there is interest in running Onion Creek up into the mountains on Tuesday, I'm in. It may be a relief from the heat down in the valley. It won't push the limits of your vehicles but it is a pretty cool run from a scenic perspective.
Onion creek sounds perfect Dan for Tuesday Dan, let's do it!

I'll be in town from Friday evening through Wednesday when we head to Breckenridge. I'm planning on hanging with family on Saturday and will probably do some light trails around Canyonlands.

I'm thinking about towing my Honda Pioneer 1000 out to Moab and maybe doing some more technical trails this time around. Maybe exploring some of the more remote parts of Moab... Will have the LC as well for those trails. I definitely want to hit Top of the World again!
Are you coming this year?

Pretty sure I am in, I just need to see if my wifes company gets acquired or not and what that may look like for our summer if it goes through.
That's the only reason I have held off on starting a communication about The Moab Pre-Funk.
thanks man
Will you join us?

Have you made your mind and travel plans?
We can't do Moab this year after all my friend, sorry about that . We are going to head out to Denver and hike for a few days before meeting up at Slee on Wed 8/2. We will need to plan the Moab trip in 18

@Markuson Will you coming to Moab pre-run?

Will you join us?
@Atwalz I'm sorry to say I will not be able to make the Moab trip this year as I'd be solo and that's a long drive to be solo - I'm really glad you picked up the planning for 2017 so it can live on another year - thanks for keeping it alive!
I'll see you in Breck!

Last year we did Fins and Things, Hell's Revenge, and Top of the World. Any other you want to recommend. I am flexible in running what ever.

Sunday, Day 1: Fins and Things
Monday, Day 2: Hells Revenge (AM) and Top of the World (Afternoon)
Tuesday, Day 3: Onion Creek

Let me know your preferences for each day. Thoughts?

I mostly just have mountain biking experience around Moab plus some easy offroad from when I took my Yukon on Shafer+Potash+Long Canyon and a bit of WRT. I'm up for doing difficult trails but would draw the line at anything with a likelihood of damage as I need the truck to be working for Breck and a following 2 week road trip.
