JP since I have the hard top back on why don't you borrow the soft top and doors. The top is perssty much trashed anyway. Its not hard to put on. Your welcome to it. It will keep you dry warm and deaf.:D

You did'nt mention the "deaf part" when you were putting my top on Saturday!:grinpimp:

What's up guys. I've been gone for the last week and a half but am glad to come back and see the excitement and momentum for the MLK trip!! Awesome!!

I'll need to join the convoy in Murphy on Friday. I can meet at any time (looks like 3ish was the general ETA)...

Just let me know where and when.

We met at the Subway / Gas Station last time.

Don't know what vehicle I'm brining (lots of repairs to do before Friday), but I'll be there!! :D

Thanks JP. I'll look for the PM.

Def want to bring the 40 esp after I had to turn around on trail 6 and leave the group after the rain started last time. Open diffs and worn out stocker LTX's aren't an effective combo at Tellico... :crybaby:

I just need to get some things done this week and don't know if I'll have the time. Got a pretty bad situation with my front left hub that started on the Uwharrie trip. It's leaking all over the wheel and I've got major leakage on the inside on both sides.

Probably time for a full front axle service anyway. So, if I can get that and some nasty electrical snafus worked out, the 40 will be there. Otherwise, it will be a wagon...

Andy PM sent!!!

Okay guys where is Matt (SCJ06)????? MIA??? hey Alex or Richard doesn't one of you fellows have his number? If you do let me know or either give him a call yourself and see if her is still ALIVE and if he is then proceed to convince him to come to Tellico :D It seems last time I talked to him he was planning on coming to Tellico!!!

I know Alex does or Gehn one of those two.......... anys we need to get old matt come

dang checked his use profile and ....... Last Activity: 12-29-05 09:07 AM; he really is MIA

Who's on first?

Can we get a list of attendees and the various caravan
departure times and locations?
Ingles in Walhalla @ noon....e.ta. Murphy at 3:00 p.m.
Chalet checkin by 5:00.p.m. I'll try and hang a snowman flag
on the pole at the driveway to the Chalet.
From Murphy side it's first road on the right before you
get to Tellico Plains. I think. Go past store and look for flag on left.
We need a club flag. The banner is too large and tempting
to leave way down there at the road. The phone pole has reflectors.
I'll bring my snow flag and nail it there. :grinpimp:
Who will be in this group?
What about the others? Where and when? Who?
Inquiring minds want to know.

Also we will be meeting up with Andy in Murphy at the the gas and sub station....... I think andy and myself are going to take trail 1 over to the chalet, I like the view from the mountains this time of year, is that okay??? plus I want to revist the site of my "disaster" to help heel old wounds :D

hope that gives you some Idea

again everyone is responsible for their own BREAKFAST and LUNCH and dinner will be provided!!!!!!!!! see you fellas in Walhalla

As JP said, I'll meet the convoy in Murphy around 3ish. Last time we met at the Subway / Citgo station on the corner - I think it's the Highway 74 and Hiwasse St. intersection.

I have JP's cell. David or Alan - you can PM me your cell if you want so we can communicate better near meeting time if necessary.

Not getting what I wanted done on the 40 so I'll probably be in my 98 100 series (waiting for laughter). :D

Then I can stay in front of JP to govern his speed on Trail 1. :grinpimp:

I've go to get with ttavis on a good time on thursday to get some of my crap to him. But it looks like we will be meeting at 4 at jps place in clemson. We will convoy up to trail 1 and then on the house for cood beer. I'll stoke the smokker and thow thos bad boys on and some of my famous mop and rub. If you want ribs or any saussage or chicken smoked it can be done that night for a late feast. I can make some mean ribs. So that is our plan. Really no plan. We will end up leaving something or someone behind. BUt we will make it.

Sounds great

Friday night flight could be in the rain/snow. Take extra precautions please.
I know our safety inspector, Trollhole, will keep the late convoy in check.
Hard40 will have to serve as the early convoy safety boss.
ClemsonCruiser is on his own as to trail one safety, but, I have no concerns...
once bitten as they say. :)
We'll probably get something to eat from a local establishment on Friday night
while we wait on Club Chef's arrival. Then the feasting shall begin in earnest.
We'll have some cold refreshments and a warm fire on hand to greet the arrivals.

I plan on cooking burgers and dogs friday night at the chalet, so they will be waiting on the late convoy sound good to you guys??? You guys should be there around 8-9??? right

Also, I will bring enough Rotel for a couple of nights, I thinking about 6lbs :D

Sounds like a great plan JP! Mmmmmm....burgers and dogs.....and
If they are later it's no biggie to sling some meat on a grill anyway. :)

JP,

Was talking to Marshall and he expressed interest in some venison chili on Friday night as well.

Since you were going to pitch in on Sunday with game birds, I'll help out on Friday night with some chili and still have plenty for those still there on Sunday night. Be good in the cold for the guys coming in later and who doesn't like meat chili on a hot dog or burger?? Ummm, double meat!! :D

What do you think?

Double Meat it is!!!!!!!!!!

Is everyone staying till Monday??? or are most heading back Sunday night? I plan on staying till Monday for sure......... I want to get two full days of wheeling in, plust with the nice "chalet" I won't be in in hurry to run home for a hot shower :D

the more meat the merrier
