Took the kids on their first camping trip.
Krilakis lunch to get us to Grand Gulf for the museum, church, Spanish House.
Water was crazy high.

They have a great tent spot overlooking the river with a bath house 100 yards away. Kids helped cook breakfast the next morning and were sad to hear s’mores aren’t served at every meal
Had several huge bucks, an owl, and a possum for night time entertainment

The next day we checked out the gun emplacements, Graves, firetower then headed to see Alcorn and Port Gibson

We then went to see Mr D. For chicken. He sang to my wife and lost money on my 3 boys. Then we headed to Rodney, cane mount, Windsor ruins, and found this Presbyterian church from 1801 just SW of bayou Pierre.

We didn’t see any Coronavirus zombies and had perfect weather for a first camping trip. We topped It off with Rocky Springs church and creek wadding on our way home.

More the merrier. Love it
I downloaded Nolan's DeSoto track and went for a ride. Saw a track on the GAIA satellite overlay that went down to Red Creek, when I took my version of a Nolan photo in tribute to the King of the Backroads.
