I wont be able to make it that weekend. It would probably take me a couple hours just to get away from the beach here fighting all the holiday traffic. Hope you guys get a lot done though.

Damn Richard, that sucks - and I was planning on a slide show for you from last season's Wake / Clemson football game. :flipoff2: :D

No worries dude, I understand. That traffic is a nightmare come May. I hope Horry County is treating you well.

Andy where in the hell are your steering stops?
All the more reason you need to make it Marshall. You can ejumecate me on that there stuff. :D

The entire steering setup was someone esle's mastermind in an attempt at perfection - like other things on the rig, I am sure it falls short. :D

It actually has some crazy power steering setup done by a company in the north east years ago. All of the parts (steering box, pump, bracket) are from a 66 Impala. Supposedly the turn ratio is "much better" as a result.

That's the fun part about buying a modded rig. You have to do investigative background searches to learn the history. I've spent lots of time and energy tracking down all of the old owners learning the build as it went. Not as rewarding as doing it yourself but if I took that route, it would never leave the driveway...

you can see them in two of the pictures.... but you are right I don't see them in the middle pic???

Man, those pics suck. Blurry, low lighting and taken in a hurry. I can take some more with better resolution and clarity if need be.

Haha your so funny, We still had a better record and a bowl win and once again we are predicted to do better this coming season. Your just like USC we have to let you win one or two every 5 years so we can keep you on the schedule. As for traffic it is ridiculous takes me 30-45 minutes to go 15 miles from home to work. There a few hundred thousand bikes right now. I cant wait for black bike week those guys are retarded and have no fear they just swerve in and out of traffic. I hope you get a lot done though I want to see your 40 at an event this fall.

Good stuff, man. I know I can always count on you. :D

Winning 2 out of the last 3 isn't too bad, especially when our loss was a double overtime ref error at your house. 3 out of 3 would have probably lost Tommy his job though so it's all good... ;)

The 40 should be at Tellico if all goes well!! Hopefully you'll be there. That will be a good time to have a Turkey reunion but if you and JP start with those calls at camp, there's no telling what kind of wildlife you'll drag in. Last year we had bears and coyotes because of Marshall's / Bob's gourmet cooking.

Your team is not like us, we purposely lose so we can suck even more and let you win one or two every 5 years so all of us who play like crap can stay on the same schedule. I hope I get a lot done though I want to see my 55 at an event this fall.

Fixed it for you.:flipoff2:

Your so funny Marshall this coming from the guy whose school has an all time losing record in football, the same guy who spends more time on mud then working, while I am busy graduating early and still managing to turn a $1 ebay piece of rust into a running vehicle. Dont be jealous and change my post. :flipoff2:

I'm jealous your life doesn't evolve around football. Change my post anytime. :flipoff2:

;p :flipoff2: :D

OK, back to the issue at hand. Tracked down Kurt at Cruiser Outfitters and order this:

With Timken Wheel Bearings
Part# FA7590TWB

Asked him his opinion on the Koyo vs. Timken bearings, he said they were both good but he keeps more Timken in stock so I went Timken. It will be here by Friday.

Will source moly grease and wheel bearing grease locally.

I will post a list later of "other" stuff / issues to address on the 40 if we get this done and have some time left over. The laundry list is about 7-8 things long.

Me too! Are you going to be able to haul some of the stuff Marshall mentioned (if he can't come)? Anything you guys can tote tool-wise will be valued as my tool inventory is pretty lacking. I do have a neighbor that is a veritable Home Depot though. I raid his stuff pretty regularly.

should be able too fit tools in the corolla............. I have the tools to do the job, my repertoire of tools may not be as impressive as Marshall, but with brut force and bear feet I can get the job done

Awesome. Much appreciated!!

Marshall was going to bring a compressor, ratchet and air hammer. Hopefully he can still make it since these tools will speed the job and will leave us more time to focus on .

i'll try to make it, especially if there is a car pool. Oh, and i just picked up my FF rear axle from cruiser parts when i was home :grinpimp: Marshall as the clubs axle specialist i'll let you know when i rebuild it so you can check it out. Alan offered for me to do it up at his place and i may take him up on that.

Awesome, that would be cool if you could make it Gehn. The more hands, the better!

JP's Corolla is going to get a workout!! :D
