Nah, Don't powder the wheel rings black. Orange! ...to balance out the stripes.

Good luck with your recovery.
Thank you 🙏
I noticed the photos of you roping the back glass in. Did you use urethane to seal the back glass and windshield to both the body-side and glass-side?

That is the factory-specified procedure. If they went in dry they will both leak and squeak when the body flexes.

No urethane. Lube and I think they self seal. Guess we will find out. Lol

Beautiful 80!!

Sorry about the wrist. It will heal. I broke my wrist in 6 places a few years ago in a motorcycle accident, spent almost a year in a cast. I know what a pain it is, literally and figuratively.

Good for you for still getting it done! 👍

Wow. Turns out my wrist bones were pretty jacked. They put in the “Spider!” I will be getting a real cast soon for 4 weeks. I’m sorry but the reassembling of the interior is on hold. I can try to do what I can with 1 hand. This is frustrating. Don’t give up on me I want to share the rest it’s been so fun and difficult but mostly FUN!!!!!

You should see the tools, almost make you think "I could do that" .....:)
Your paint job has come out great. It will get done when it gets done.
With the proper applications of pain meds and alcohol the pain is tolerable.
Take care and Happy Holidays!
