Depends on where you buy it, Methanol is preferred if you are injecting it but methanol vapors are also toxic when breathed so some places have gone to ethanol mix. Either will work fine for this application because it is just an anti-freeze agent.

Uhmm.....just curious how you weld all the way around those fittings. Looks a little tight. Very nice welding on the flange though!

You know dgwelder I have no idea. I have thought the same thing but Marc Evans, EMS Powered's fabricator is one of if not the best I have seen.

Dgwelder,

I also found out how the tubes are done. After they are tacked up they are numbered and witness marked, the tack weld is cut and they reassemble from the bottom welding as they go.

Ahh....that makes sense. Simple tricks make all the difference.

The LX was on the flatbed truck Saturday and I was up at the shop all that day bugging them so they didn't get started until today but they are making great progress! Very impressed so far!

Good clearance around the AC line we will add a little more heat wrap as well as ceramic coat the Y turbo manifold and the turbo.

Angle welded the turbo outlet to make it a smooth transition to the intercooler.
