So. Lots of progress today. Removed all he steering links and cleaned and Pinter. New tie rod ends all the way around.
Also removed the heinous front bumper with that beat up trailer ball.

Finished cleaning up underside of body and rust treated the front area of the frame and under good stuff that had a little rust. Under coated the whole under body and painted the back 3/4 of frame.

Should be ready to start reinstalling brake lines and front end by Thursday.

Here's a couple pix.

The phone camera flash is making it look a little gray. But it is indeed black.

One more coat I'll be good.

Need to adjust rear drums to get cover on.

duplicolor pro. 10 cans. theyre all about the same i think.

i started with a can of rustoleum. because thats what i had. bought 5 cans this am at autozone. went back, they didnt have any more of the dupli pro. but had regular. i could tell it sprayed a little different, but its not noticable. and it's under the truck

im going to start by unwrapping it and deleting all of the crap.

does anyone have a link to a pic of a 40 harness with the connectors labeled or laid out? i know @ntsaint sent me a picture of one, not sure who's it was, but it was too hard to tell what anything was....

The pics are large, so Google sent download links from my drive vs. actually including them at normal attachments. Let me know if you have problems accessing them.

For what it's worth, based on the pictures you posted of your harness and connectors, I'm pretty sure I wouldn't go through the trouble of unwrapping it or fxxxing with it much. Doesn't seem worth the risk.
