Well,Today I actually saw dust on the trails. Out of the three trips LLK has had out here, this is the only day the sun has shown, and I actually was dusty at the end of the day.

This morning we had an awesome Winching Session put on by Shawn with Pandora offroad, with equipment donated by Hodges. It was a pretty cool class, and I learned a couple things. I think everybody could have benifited from it.
Abouit 12 of us, ranging from awesome built 40's, to mildly build 62's, to built 80's, to built FJC's, to almost stock FJC's, to 4Runner's, to some lady in a Lexus,

, and to built 100's. We did a couple trails, with a couple people getting some nice spotting work, using the techniques learned from Shawn. We had a couple vehicles with damage, one being something near and dear to my heart, something I spent many hours on with a Body hammer Massaging on to get back into original shape, Now i need to spend ALOT more time reworking it, I'm about a 1/4" from having a new rear quarter glass in... I was doing fine, then I think a rock shifted thowing me into a tree. The other indury was a FJC that had the same happen, rock wise, but it only just caught the corner of those rear lights, that Toyota decided needed to stick like 4" past the fenders... sorry about that...
The more built rigs decieded to follow mike, into the abbis, somewhere..
I led a group of 8 rigs around the main access trails of the park, and we had a couple times where we needed a tug with the straps, but nothing to bad, they were a bit deeper rutted, than the yesterday... All in all, nodamage done, only had to turn around once, and everybody got to hang out under the hang over, and climb some trees. Got a couple couples pics, and had a good time... I personally thank everybody who was brave enough to follow me, and hope yall enjoyed the little 6 hour run as much as I did.

Hopefully somebody will post one of the group shots from around the Pole barn, I didn't get one....
A couple of us then went run Abbies trail and Cane creak backwords compared to the morning/noon run, much better this way.

It was majorly down hill.... I tried a couple rock ledges, but I guess I just can't clime a 3' ledge in the 62, I gave it a valient attempt... Then later down the trail, a FJC and Hundy tried climbing some good hills, but just couldn't get past one point, so I said I'd try, not expecting to do any better. So I get past where they got stuck, because I had a different wheelbase, but further up, just couldn't get a bit on one rock,... So then next thing I know James comes up, and beats my mark, and get him self into a slight situation, but nothing that a quick winch from uptop coudln't fix, we really all thought he was gonna have it, but it ended up grabbing on his driver side, and sliding him over to where he was 3wheeling... His front passenger was about 5-6" off the ground. THe pictures don't do it justice, because they were taken on a pretty good slope to beginne with. We again used some of Shawn's tips and got him out safely...

I heard that somebody broke a Ujoint, so I guess they are winning as of right now, but I believe I'm in a close 2nd...
I got to meet up with a bunch of people, and kind of put a face with the name/username...
I think everybody had a great time, I saw smiles all day long, I personally think even though it was muddy, that every wheeler, and wheelette had a blast...
It's a good thing Mr. Mark (the owner of Hawk Pride) doesn't charge by the pound for dirt taken away from the park...
All I can say it yall need to start buying raffle tickets, but give them to me...
I got a couple people to get on the flex ramp, and I was impressed.
Sorry, I tend to talk alot, and even more because I did it on the PC instead of the phone.

THanks
Cody
