Can you say hoarder:rolleyes: Come on Rob give someone a chance. How many speedo clusters can you use in one cruiser:confused: I know I know it's all about the art:hillbilly:

Maybe you plan on pulling the glove box door and installing a second cluster on the passenger's side. That way the passenger can help watch the speed and help monitor the engine:hhmm:

Nice score Rob:cheers:

2 guage clusters :hhmm: I Like That  say hi to Tim when you see him

Gotta Love the Stockton Swap Meet

nice score for sure Rob... especially love the early FST parts and chains with the leather covers very cool!!

You guys out west don't know how good you have it, you should try being an early cruiser fanatic in the south.... I am all alone here everything I have came from either California or Colorado :o

Hey JP, I feel your pain...try being one of a hand full of FJ40s in your area...even worse, I have a border and customs to deal with on every order :frown:

haha you want to try it in westralia! there a few old cruisers about in my part the state; not that anyone gives a toss really. they are mostly "carton of beer free". but the only 25 i ever seen in the flesh is my own skeleton remains.

I thought you got one out of Utah:hhmm: I never thought I would say this but feel free to buy from AZ. I have way to much early cruiser stuff already.

I wonder is this the first step in the cure for the disease:rolleyes:

No Utah for me...both of the good '62's I have origanlly came from Southern California, probally the same dealer as they are only 3 vin. numbers apart. Although when I bought them one was located in the desert east of Fallon, NV and the other had made it's way to Ohio from So Call via. Toyteacher here on Mud. And I do have Jim's '62 plow truck from NJ...... it seems to me that Land Cruisers really didn't catch on in the south until the late 60's if not early 70's as it is hard to find anything much older than 1970 here. And most of the harder to find early parts I had to source came from Classic Cruisers grave yard in Salida, CO. It is amazing to me the amount of early cruiser and hard to find parts they have there...

I will keep AZ in mind when the time comes for an FJ25 to join my stable.... got get through restoring the FJ45LV with my dad first, so it might be awhile before I can help cure you :D

fog light switch

new nos switch
The FL switches I've seen (and the one Landpimp has) match later light switches (like my 1971) and had yellow paint instead of white, but otherwise looked the same from the outside. (See figure, left lower hand corner)

But it makes sense to me that the proper early switch would have a 6th terminal and have an extra setting for fog, combining two switches. Dunno!

Some of you may have seen the thread I started in asking the value of a 70 FJ40. I am going to try and help him sell it. He had planned on driving to Phoenix (190 miles away) to bring me some items but I drove over there instead he is 86 years old. Here are a few item that would work for a FJ25

Few more pitures. The toll kit was missing the lug wrench (I have a clean one at the cabin) and index label. Not sure but I think a OEM head gasket kit for the F135 is no longer available. Some of the parts books I got answered some of the burning question about early TLCs. Thing like the Eaton heater was more than a dealer option. They are listed in the Toyota parts pricing. What to know if your cruiser came with a centered diff. Give a frame number and I can tell you:rolleyes:
