Nyuk-nyuk....

Buying in bulk.........never know when all this stuff could become collectible.............;) :D That must have been one heavy carry-on bag.

Got my set last Saturday. Going up north today to mate them to the lights. I know John (Landpimp) posted he had a source for the bulbs at one time. Speaking of John does he know that these are available. I know Steve didn't bring in a huge supply. I going to PM John about the replacement bulbs plus to let him know the brackets are available. He may be to involved in finding replacement prawns to have seen this.

2 land cruisers, 4 fog lights needing brackets! :D

So, what's the correct wiring color for the fog light circuit?

I bought all the seller had. You should have heard my wife complaining!! "What do you want these things for???"
Must be a penis thing...

Pretty sure that http://www.danielsternlighting.com/ was who I talked to about the bulbs for the OEM fog lights, thought he had some, but at that time I was trying to track down yellow H4 with the oddball base for my Kioto E code lights........I think I now own the last(20 or so) of these in the world ;)

but I have to think that the little 35w fog light bulbs will last ALONG time.....as I have seen 30 year old Cruisers with the orignal sealed beams still burning.

Looks Great!!!

Dave, Those look great!

Did you use a 10mm carrage or a 7/16?

Could this be a fog light switch? Looks exactly like a regular light switch except it has 6 posts instead of five, three position, markings on the back SS RF LF and so on?

The proper carriage bolt from the figure is 90112-10007, but when I checked with CDan, it turns out those are no longer available. The shorter 90112-10004 carriage bolt is still available, however (goes into the bumper gussetts). As it turned out, those were long enough and worked just fine! The square hole in the Fog light bracket looks like it should be a 12mm, but the hole in the bumper is for an 10mm. Both of those bolts are 10mm, so that's what I used.

The FL switches I've seen (and the one Landpimp has) match later light switches (like my 1971) and had yellow paint instead of white, but otherwise looked the same from the outside. (See figure, left lower hand corner)

But it makes sense to me that the proper early switch would have a 6th terminal and have an extra setting for fog, combining two switches. Dunno!

my book says the nut is a 10x 1.25. so that's a 12mm plus the 7/16 carriage I have fit the bracket tight. Does the 8mm carriage square spin in the bracket?
