If i win that meat I'm going to

Pound that meat and rub it with some oil and heat it to a melt in your mouth temp! mmm

Pound that meat....you've been watching too much porn.

If I win, I solemnly swear to;
1. Cooked Medium Rare
2. rubbed with oil then coarse salt
3. No sauce
4. cooked on charcoal
5. meat will be room temp before place on grill
6. thaw in fridge
7. see 4

This meat needs to be cooked RARE. Dry aged will not purge....rare is the way to go.

WTF, my star is supposed to be gold. I'm going to PM woody, my star should be gold by the time the drawing happens.

EDIT: I found out why my star isn't gold. If you look closely you will see that my star is white. This is of higher value than the silver or gold stars. There probably aren't more than 4 or 5 white stars total. :cool:

Thank you, but I'll pass. Nothing against your supplier, it has some fine marbling, but it might have wet aged for 28 days by the time you received it. How long off the hoof? It maybe grass fed too. ;) NTTIATWWT, I just like knowing what the animal ate and when they blew it's nose/wiped it's ass for the last time. It's also nice walking through the meat locker a city block deep/wide feeling the temperature that has kept it edible.

As you well know, a certified Angus/Prime isn't always correctly certified during certain periods of the year. Angus could sell as prime, select could be choice, it depends on how busy it is.

Comparatively speaking (to the opening pic), I preferred the marbling on the ribeye roll (standing roast) I cut last weekend to yours. It wasn't prime.

There may be reasons why you don't get the good s***.
