Bought a tool box to match this truck.......not exactly Just a weird coincidence.

Now maybe I should find one to match the 60....

Going to give this thing a go on the 60.....bought it for another truck but it will fit with the 1HDT’s manifold on the 1HZ. It comes with an adapter so it can fit directly on the 1HZ manifold which is pretty cool. Ball bearing turbo....has the right specs...we’ll see how it does.

I just rediscovered this thread as I am looking into swapping a 1HD-T into a 60 as well. By now, I think I've seen every possible swap of a 1H-XXX into anything and can definitely say that this is by far the best one... This is really amazing work, and I apologize in advance as taking a lot of pointers from it.

How'd the turbo end up? How'd you end up routing the exhaust?

@LazarusTaxa The turbo turned out really well on this truck.....it's a really enjoyable driver. 1HDT will be just about perfect in it.

Exhaust was routed over the frame, down the passenger side of the truck between the frame and rocker and then a turn down before the rear tire. There's a muffler stuffed up i there too.

Here's a good shot of the 2 pieces that run along the side of the truck....there's obviously a downpipe off the turbo.

Don't forget to order some of our hood struts for that 60....makes it easy to show off that 1HDT
