I totally agree with that statement. Also, remember these tears can be made any custom size.. width/length.

Dave, you forgot to make sure to note to have the pug down by your feet so the little noises and smell associated with them don't wake you.

It actually tows very well. It's lighter than our Horizon was. The tongue weight is like half of what our Horizon was (but we had a bunch of gear in the nose box). I can actually pick this up by myself upfront if i need too. We have ours outfitted with the 20 gal. water tank under the rear as an option, makes it even easier to work with at the tongue. I like the nose box being diamond plate instead of AT's setup (powder coated box) because they get pitted from off highway travel easily. Other than that, it's just preference on suspension.

Hey Dave,

Appreciate the reply & info - Thanks!

Cheers!

We like to do long family trips in the desert. I tried to build our 80 to get us back out. Lockers, winches, batteries, auxiliary tank, onboard air...

Expedition? More like the weekend warrior camping truck. The longest we have lived out of it consecutively is about 7 days. Of course I have fantasies of taking it to some exotic place I can’t pronounce. But likely, the closest thing we will ever get to visiting strange cultures will be when we pass through those wacky fundamentalist communities in Southern Utah... :hillbilly:

In regards to the map above :eek::eek::cool:

I can't even imagine what it must have been like going all those places. I am really looking forward to doing some offroading in the States, but it takes some real guts to do trips like that. Hats off to them.
