They are pretty capable, I have seen a few wheeling Rausch before.
When I was out at the Carlisle Truck Show the other week, I didn't see any Subarus. Years ago, there was usually a group of three or four of them - lifted and outfitted for trails. They seemed pretty well put together and looked like fun. Something like this:

I seem to recall one of the ones at Carlisle was mostly built on Toyota components while another one was custom IFS.
