Awesome video as always!
That steam in action is simply amazing!
Just ordered a set based on your review... can't wait until you start the front and 2nd row seats!
Thanks for making this awesome video for us.
I love watching the steam action in fast forward. Really shows how much of a change there is.

Here's the high pressure steamer I'm using. For $130 shipped it's a steal. My last McCulloch was $250 and only lasted a few months. So far this one has been working great as I put it through the paces, and seems to be higher power than my old McCulloch:

I'll keep the updates coming as I make progress.

Hardest part so far has just been figuring out how things come apart. So hopefully the series of videos will help you guys when you get around to doing yours.

I am hoping to have the 3rd row seats finished so that I can upload the full 3rd row seats video for you guys late tonight or tomorrow.

Baby steps, Making progress. Here's a couple teasers.

Following the progress!
Like that rich color compare to the OEM!

I watched a vid on utube months ago where someone took apart the front seat leather on a Lexus. Toyota uses velcro for some of the seats. The hard part is moving those heavy front seats around.
(I would clean the carpets and make sure that fan under the seat is clean.)

I saw this Lexus selling locally and the leather seat looked terrible w/ that out of control wrinkles.
The passenger seat is original w/ wear and looks like only replaced the most worn out drivers side leather seat.

OP, any tip to avoid this type of armature looking result? more steam or will stretch out over the time?

I completely agree! That looks terrible. Yes, there's lots of things you can do to avoid that. Steaming the foam. Adding foam where its very worn. New foam bottoms. Heat treating treating the new leather covers after they are put on. Be aware of where you line things up before you clamp down your hog rings. Take your time to align things properly.... etc.... That on in particular doesn't look like it would have been a terrible fit. It looks like a bad installation.

I've had a heck of a time getting all the video downloaded. Over 100 small clips. I finally got them downloaded. Working on getting them stitched together now and will upload tomorrow hopefully.

WOW! I know it's time consuming but you're helping many fellow members out there.
Thank you and can't wait to watch the new video!

Here is part 6 of the series. Fully detailed walk through of how to remove the original leather from the 3rd row, how to install and hog ring the new leather, and how to "shrink" the the new leather covers down for a nice snug fit. All the tools I use are in the video description, just a few, nothing fancy. Next video will be a complete walk through of how to remove the 2nd row of seats, remove the leather, and install the new leather. It'll be about a week before I get time for that, so hang tight!

Get ready, it's a long one. It was over 2 hours. I cut out all the irrelevant stuff to keep it shorter. It still came out to 1 hour and 20 minutes. Feel free to fast forward through whatever you think you may already know. I tried to make it as detailed as possible for people of all skill levels.

Enjoy!!

Bro this looks like a giant pain in the ass that we will all have to do someday. Thanks for documenting.

Thanks for the encouragement. Hoping the 2nd row is a bit easier to figure out. Fingers crossed!

What was wrong with the 3rd row seats? Hell, mine have been sat in less than 5 times.
