Outstanding video and I don't know how you unpack that thing with only one hand! :D
Can't wait to see you in action.

How's the actual leather quality compare to the OEM?
Haha, I tried but had to pause to use both hands :)
At first glance it seems comparable in quality. But I really want to get the OEM covers off to compare them side by side.

Back when I used the LSEAT setup on my old LX470 the differences I saw on the LX470 were:
1) heavier grain on LSEAT material
2) different wearing pattern compared to OEM, the OEM seemed to show surface cracking after age, whereas the LSEAT covers showed surface wear but not as much cracking. Both not great traits in my opinion, but worth noting the difference
3) The stock LX470 stitching was cleaner for sure. But once installed the only person that noticed the flaws in the LSEAT stitching was probably me since I'm picky.
4) The LX470 OEM material was ever so slightly more grippy. Which could be good or bad depending on how you enter and exit the vehicle

I'll post more detailed thoughts against the LX570 material and the current LSEAT material once I get further along. The LX570 OEM leather is definitely different than the LX470 OEM leather was.

@baktasht Grt video for those of us in the market. Quality looks great from 4K on my couch! Seems like a very reasonable price compare to leading seat protector covers that many on mud seem to gravitate towards, and an absolute steal compared to from lexus.

I’m subbed and am def curious to follow alone to see how these get installed etc and how they look.

Thanks for taking the time to help us all out!

WOW! thanks for taking your time to answer my question!
This is very promising! OEM seat bottom is SOOO expensive and custom leather seat in my area can't even compete with Lseat price.

You got it! I'm as excited as you guys are! I'll keep chugging away at it as time permits.

Nice G07!! We got twins!! :-) We have been very pleased with the X7. We drove the new Escalades, Range Rovers, GLS, Lincoln, and a few others first. We actually had no plans to look at the X7, but we went to the BMW dealer to look at a 2021 GLS they had on the used lot since that's what we were narrowed down to, saw the X7 and figured we'd drive it. Instantly changed our mind. It drives like our old 2015 7series did, even with that added size, has great second and third row space. Especially the third row, I'm 6ft and I fit fine back there. The dash/electronics were nicer in the GLS, but overall we really enjoyed the X7 more. Picked it up and haven't regretted it yet. Fingers crossed!

BTW, how long did it take you to get it from Lseat?
I ordered it on I think December 30th, and it arrived at my house here in Round Rock, TX (right outside of Austin) on January 22nd.

Oh nice… that’s not too bad.
Agreed. quicker than I expected. Now to see if the quality and fitment is good. Will find out soon.

Third row seat removal step by step video. I took my time to make sure I didn't snap any clips or pinch any wires and it took me maybe 30-40min. But after watching this video I think you can have them out in 10 minutes or less. Next I'll be working on the teardown of each one and install of the new leather. The next video is going to be a long one.

Most excellent!
This video should be in the sticky!

As I'm getting things disassembled I did 2 more specific videos before the big video covering the entire 3rd row leather replacement.

Part4 - Side by side detailed comparison of the LSEAT / LSEATS leather versus the factory OEM Toyota / Lexus leather

Part5 - How to restore the thickness, plumpness, and springiness back into your seat foam without having to buy new foam. I think this is a step that most people miss. And those that try to do it with small garment steamers may not be getting the full effects of having a high pressure steamer. Highly recommend you watch and don't miss this important step if you're redoing seats on any type of vehicle. Most foam I have come across is restorable, although some that are in very bad shape need to be replaced or added to. If you want to see the fast forward results in real time start watching around the 3:30 mark till the end.

Here's the high pressure steamer I'm using. For $130 shipped it's a steal. My last McCulloch was $250 and only lasted a few months. So far this one has been working great as I put it through the paces, and seems to be higher power than my old McCulloch:
