I’m glad the fit and finish was much better than the preproduction model at the car show.
Absolutely no surprise here. Pre production prototypes are cardboard cutouts of what the production sausage maker eventually produces.

Will try to snap some more photos, but grabbed a few quick ones the other day before I headed out of town for a few days.

******* that is a great looking vehicle.

@cruiseroutfit did you get a chance to throw the 550 on the forklift yet?

Alright, had a spare 3 minutes today.

Obviously not an indexed score relative to wheelbase such as an RTI score. However we've done this with many in the parking lot as a fun visual. ~24" of cross-axle articulation. I'll have to bring a stock 200 to the shop next week, oh and we should do the GX460 too.

Diff lock is way up top on the housing. Front sway is huge and hangs low in the middle. Belly pan is almost flat but with several inches above because of it. Sliders remind me of FJ cruiser stock sliders- pretty stoutly mounted. Generally, the size feels a lot like an 80. Inside feels cooler than I expected. I need to drive one, but first impression is it’s better than my 470 (as it should be) but I’d probably miss the v8.

Was the GX turned on? Wondering if the eKDSS was working properly?

In Tinkerer's video it looks like it is articulating more.

Thanks! Out of curiosity! Out of curiosity was the truck on with MTS engaged?

Obviously the 200 it didn’t matter, but I’m wondering how the ekdss responds to different drive modes.

Agreed! I have had a lot of cars over the years but have never been stopped and talked to more about what I am driving. Even when I was getting gas this morning some guy drove up and picked my brain on it for about ten minutes.

Found one at a dealer to take a Pic of. They had a ton of GXs in trade.
I have 1.75" lift in front 1.5" in back a rear seat delete with 285/70R17s and the trucks sat level with each other, more or less.

Stopped by the local Corwin Toyota here in Colorado Springs as they had a LC 250 awaiting customer pick up. We just opened and closed the doors and peeked underneath. My first impressions were that it was closer in size to my 80 series than our 100 series. Door thunk seemed acceptable and the salesman of 20 years selling Toyotas was also a 100 series owner. He had driven one of the new LC's and was very pleased with it's power compared to his 100. Of course, living at 6000+ feet saps 20% of any available power right off the top for the 100. The turbo engines will have twice the available power and at a much lower rpm than our NA 4.7. Vehicle definitely needs some tires other than MPG enhancing Michelins and a set of 1" wheel spacers to widen the stance wouldn't hurt either if keeping the factory wheels. The 3" raised platform for the battery in the back was noticeable as well. Definitely need to go see a 550 next. I walked away saying it was nice, but I really like the size of our 100. Also, I asked about dealer markups and the salesman said they sell at MSRP. There are 18 on the waiting list currently. Hoss was the salesman FWIW.

Had to run to the shop to swap a vehicle and grab some parts for my projects.

Forklift + MegaCruiser, why not?

Front lift is pretty dismal, the GX550 smoked it.

Lifting the rear yielded a more impressive result.

Is that frame rust hanging down?

??

Are you referring to the plastic or perhaps parking lot crack sealant/tar on the bottom of the fork?

The second picture, to the left of the tape. What is hanging down from the frame?
