My vote is for the wild peak muddies, you'll have better MPGs with the KO2's though!

Consider these axles - 9808 TR - CVJ Axles - https://www.cvjreman.com/product/9808tr/ OR if you have spare OEM cv's from the other tuck consider re booting them with the CVJ kit instead of buying new cheap ones. BOOT RT08 - CVJ Axles - https://www.cvjreman.com/product/bootrt08/

I run the Spidertrax, I like them - to each their own though. If you have wheels wider than 8.5" with more than 0 offset probably shouldn't run them. If the torque is checked each time you rotate the wheels which would be each time you do an oil change (especially w/ the m/t's) you shouldn't have an issue, this would also be the time to check for any damage to the spacer or lugs to prevent any mishaps on the road if you do choose to run them.

All mods have their pluses and minuses.

I would keep the OEM Lexus rims and sell the faux TRD rims. Even though they are cool, I'm personally not into the TRD rim look on the GX - I ran them on my FJ but I don't think they work on the GX stylistically speaking. They do however have more perceived market value, so they may sell for a higher price than the OEM lexus rims which would allow you to put a bit more put towards the other mods. I think the OEM rims are nice but maybe I'm just bias because I run them!

Thanks for the info.

Dave,
What rock sliders do you use?

I have RCI Sliders with the kick out, I'm happy with them! They've done the job well so far for my needs.

If you can swing it install some kind of skid plate system in place of the factory ones, even if it's a used set of cheaper lightweight skids it will be better than stock. The more armor you can get on there before you bounce around in the rocks, the better off you'll be regarding minimization of damages.

Take it from someone ( me ) who is reluctantly in need of replacing his driver side exhaust manifold due to a not so friendly encounter between my Y pipe and a large 🪨. If I just did full skids from the start I wouldn't be in this position! Learn form my mistakes! :bang:

Was hoping to have 5 machines there but looking at only these 3 at this point.

I am coming…
First outing…
Putting this thing together takes forever. But today was a good day: skid plate, axles, rock sliders, oil and fluid lab change, and many littles things fixed.
Working on a car in the shop with a lift is so much faster. It is rare to be allowed to occupy the lift full day Saturday.

I have one good front FJ60 spring here just out a complete OME suspension on the 60
I’m actually good, picked up a full set of springs and the rears are installed. Going to see how the front behaves before I do anything there.

Thanks though for thinking of me!

If I can navigate work I will meet you at the park Pacer, Pat is planning on going and its the toyota takeover at rausch so should be intresting.

Not planning to get a particularly early start tomorrow at Raush if anyone is still considering joining us.

On the trail by 10ish

I messed up. Throughout the GCLC I started hearing a noise coming from the right front. I associated that with swaybar links as I knew they were on the way out. Checked once or twice for anything evident but never for too long.
After returning home I checked again and here we go - the top nut went bye bye and killed my new axle boot. I probably did not tighten the nut enough - user error. Did not really have time to address.

I also wanted to apologize this group to not joining on Saturday at GCLC. I said hello to few of you but honestly with my demanding family around it was very busy time for me with comforting everyone. For Saturday run I chose the group that I camped with. Right after the driver's meeting, little do I know they hoped into their cars and left in rush with me barely making behind.

GCLC was great. Here are some photos.

I am heading up to Twin Grove to camp this weekend and wheel at Rausch Creek on Saturday with my kiddo and some other folks and some of their kiddos.

Sorry for the short notice, you are welcome to join us.
A friend sent me this Bronco forum link. I'm guessing these are the guys we saw around the time of Zack's misadventure. Quality pics.
