Hey there Kavik. I'm a local AZ guy and just saw this thread. How's production going? I'm gonna get a front bumper in the next 6 months or so and really like the look or yours. I'm somewhere in between the heavy steel and your aluminum option as far as use. We do a lot of camping and some rock trails, a lot of adventure stuff. When you say this bumper can't take a hit like a steel one (which I appreciate your honesty) what is meant? How much would it take to really jack it up? Is it mounted very solidly with multiple points? Is the winch mount for show winches or actual use? And lastly, I saw your list from a while back and it looked long ... what's your lead time. Thanks a lot!!

As far as updates, I apologize for the sparse posts. Been plugging away, but not enough hours in the day! I've distanced myself from one of my more demanding consulting gigs to focus on bumper construction and new 100 series product development.

New tools, machines and fixtures are flowing into the shop to help ramp up production. I am very grateful for everyone that is patiently hanging in there. This is a significant life shift for me and my family. I sincerely look forward to contributing to the LC/Mud community, just need a bit more time to get to everyone.

Ok, folks. Still building to order (one at a time), but finally making headway.

A heads up to those that have contacted me via email info@kavikoffroad.com You should receive an Estimate for the bumper, options, and estimated shipping costs.

Based on inquiries, I'm inclined to include turn signal holes on all bumpers (previously excluded on the UZJ100 bumper). Adding them after the fact, and/or including the lamps themselves has proven to be a challenge. The lamps are readily available on eBay, so you guys would be ordering the same bits I would anyway. I currently have shells with and without, but will eventually phase out the non-signal bumpers. So, if you specifically DO NOT want turn signal holes, please speak up and order soon.

I am also requesting a deposit on current orders to create a more direct path to build/deliver. If you haven't emailed us yet, please do so we can get you a formal Estimate. This is invaluable in keeping track of everyone, and expediting your order.
