How much will the tires rub without the body lift? Would love to have 35s but not neccessarily interested in the body lift. Is the body lift made from metal or plastic? THX

If you really want 35" tires:
First off, you don't want ANY rubbing at all, you'll just ruin your tires and fenders, not necessarily in that order.
Second, I was getting light rubbing through dips on surface streets before adding a 1.75" body lift. For reference my setup is 35" BFG MT's with 2.5" suspension lift with new TB's, springs, shocks, and diff drop kit. I built my own 1.75" body lift and installed it. No problems on anything now!!

If you want to just do the soccer mom thing and mall cruise you'll be fine with 35" tires and no body lift. If you want to have adventures, you WILL have to have a body lift of some kind. Most people I believe get by with a 1" BL and no rubbing on trails. I believe Spressoman has that setup, if he can chime in.

Here is a post of my rig with the 1.75" body lift and details: https://forum.ih8mud.com/threads/larger-tires-without-lift.826882/#post-9494891

You need to trim the plastic and flatten the pinch seam at the rear of the front wheel wells.

I've run 315/75r16 with no bodylift, oe wheels, 1" spacers. Works for most stuff, even slow trails, but rubs at high speed bottom outs. current 295/70r18 oe wheels 1.25" spacers, 12mm bodylift, no rubbing, even when jumping. Mostly fit without bodylift.

I appreciate the information. Not going to be a mall cruiser. Already drug lcas on mineral creek in Ouray and want to it up wit more than just poor sliders. I am in the process of figuring out which suspension set up works the best for a daily driver which goes from ga, wheels in Colorado with the family and back. Lots of misinformation out there on tire sizes and what will fit and work. Won't be doing too much high speed stuff but definitely need load carrying with three boys, dog and wife. Stock now but looking to improve.

Correction opor sliders

Also, who makes your coil springs?

We offer old man Emu coils and Torsion bars. Generally we use 2866 unless specified otherwise

Has anyone done aggressive sledgehammering with 35s to prevent rubbing?

JT did you do anything with bump stops front or rear?

Hi guys.
What is the self-locking (Torsen and similar) center differential can be set into the transfer case HF2A.

What size LED's are on the roof rack?

Thanks to our neighbor Mission Ridge Ski Area For allowing us to take some photos for the 4WD Toyota Owner Magazine Article featuring our 100 Series and BJ73 Land Cruiser build. This was last month, when we were experiencing a bit of an inversion, so it was nice to get some shots up above the clouds. Since then winter has returned fortunately.

Shown here with studded 33" winter tires, typically on 35" tires:

My setup currently is a 1999 LC
OME torsion bars, 860 springs, diff drop and Iron Man Foam Cell shocks., BIOR sliders and front bumper.

I've ordered the JT UCAs and Icon Stage 1 shocks
Simleyboy, this is exactly what I'm looking at doing and exactly the equipment I have (Sliders ARB Bumper) I know its an old thread just wanted to know how you liked your setup with the Icon Stage 1 and JT UCA's

Thanks,
