Just curious, What is your MPG on you're FJ40?

I'm pretty solid at 11-12 mpg which is realistically 13-14ish due to tire size.

Me too really, just checked it on the way to Uwharrie for something to do.

I honestly have never cared to check, it is what it is
I use it as a gauge to determine if anything is wrong, or trending wrong.

Little things add up. Once corrected the mighty 2F is a beast!

We should include what engine, carb, sniper, EFI, trans, gearing, tire size we are running here. I have stock rear 73 diff and 31" tires along with the 3fe and H55f.
Good call,

Rebuilt mighty 2F saved from an 83 FJ60, KC grind cam from Delta, JimC rebuilt carb, recurved dizzy, shaved head, desmogged, electronic ignition from the 83.

4spd, stock 74 diffs, 33" Maxxis Razrs.

Heavy right foot.

I'm getting 8-15 depending on how throttle happy I get when I wheel. 383 stroker, NV4500, 5.29s, 37"s. I try not to check too much. It's expensive to feed.

It probably doesn't help that it's brick shaped and I like to go fast.

I got 26.5 on my last fill back from Mammoth Mountain.

I usually get 26-28MPG but I speed a lot.

That's with the 2.0 TDI 39" tires and 4.10's along with a 0.79 overdrive.

I lost about 2 MPG when I switched from the 37s to the 39s.
