The door guy had a good recommendation with the black powdercoat.Great, now I can see I need to paint my garage door hardware black....
Electricians are moving right along and I believe they got power at the barn this evening. They were planning to have my grain bins powered up tonight or tomorrow.
I decided to splurge and go with a brick porch to match the house. That should get going in early March.
Wish I had the insight regarding powder coating the garage door hardware, it does look sharp.

Too much humidity in Florida. The cruisers and pinball machines equally hate humidity.
Nice splurge on the 20 seer unit for the shop area.
Have your hvac contractor install surge protectors, especially on the 20 seer with the variable speed compressor. The control boards are very sensitive.

Yes. Everything is separate. Florida needs a permit for everything. Even on a farm. But the local inspector has been great.

Big day. Grain bills full. Lift installed. Septic system done. And the barn is to the point that Starlink is powered up.
Before you get everything too full, you might consider some Sikaflex in the saw cuts. Looks nice and helps with cleaning. Just a thought.

I’m still undecided on the floor in general.
What's the predator situation down your way? I have so many hawks and critters I haven't seen a covey in a few years. I was going to create some other habitat outside of letting the briar patches and wood piles exist.
Sorry if I missed it but which lift did you go with?
