I can probably get the tailgate, I just honestly have no idea how to ship that big 'ol thing. Whats the easiest way to get the window down so you can drop the tail gate. The bottom of that tailgate is rotted through.

from the inside, pull he inspection panel and you should be able to see the two clips that hold the rear window channel...with a punch (also known as a craftsman screwdriver;)), knock the two clips out and the window can be maneuvered down.

on the tailgate. I know of another pig in a yard here in town. it has a nice tailgate. They pull all the parts and sometimes are priced high.

they are called A to Z salvage in greeley CO if you want to google/yellowbook them.

Dangit! I would have loved to pick up those front seatbelts for my pig. That's what happens when you don't read the forum for a week. Good to see all that stuff is going to go to good homes in the preservation society.
I don't need them for mine, but I'm surprised no one asked for the license plate lights. I guess they would go with the tailgate.

Not too worried about the glass? Shipping... I have friends with Benkins or...? Depends on the others-but still needed
 
Ok, went out there saturday and pulled some parts. There wasn't a lot...it was all missing or just in really bad shape. I forgot my camera at home so I won't be able to update with the pics til late morning or lunch.

I grabbed a few extra things, but not much.

Drivers side tailight for 79 pigs.
Side marker lights

Lol figures. I'm sure someone saw this thread and decided they would rather have the stuff than us. I'm sure most will just end up on e-bay.

Had this situation happened in my town and I had the chance to go grab it and I knew some people had spoken for it I would most likely have left it. Because without this thread no one would probably have ever know it was there. Gonna make it really hard for someone else to post up a find and want to help us out.
